Four Mile Ranch Golf Club sprawls across a stunning landscape of gently rolling hills. The layout closely follows the natural contours of the terrain and doesn't use any formal bunkers, in their place are white shale ridges called hogbacks. They can range anywhere in height from 3 to 30 feet and they're not even the golf course's only distinctive feature. The layout winds through natural rock outcropping and a number of mini canyons. It's as challenging as it is scenic, though, with several blind shots and intimidating greens, none of which are more daunting than that on the memorable par-5 sixth. This tough green is obscured by huge rocks, testing not only your skills but also your ability to strategize. Four Mile Ranch G.C. offers a golf experience like none other in the area.

Hidden Gem

If you are in the area and want to play an exceptional course, this is it! Stunning natural surroundings and a challenging fun course combine to offer any golfer a round they will not soon forget, and the price is definitely right. Sloping multi tiered greens that roll smooth. Well kept fairways, and unforgiving native areas make for quite the round.

Was a bit drier than when I played last year but is to be expected given the recent draught in the mountains. Course was surprisingly green though. A small herd of deer visited us as we were teeing off on 11, and the breeze kept us cool in the mid day sun. Stay hydrated if you are planning on playing, and have fun!

Angry golfers

Group in front of us played slow was warned by marshal and waited till the 18th hole to start a fight with our group. Don’t understand why you have a marshal in the first place

Beautiful and Fun

This course was amazing and fun to play. There are some challenging shots your going to have to play but thats the fun of improving your golf game. The staff was amazing from the time I checked in, the starter and all the way to the grounds keepers. The course was in excellent shape. I drove 1-1/2 hrs to play this course and it didn't disappoint. Nect time Im in Colorado I will be scheduling another round. Thanks for an awesome time golfing at your course.

Enjoyable time at Four Mile Ranch GC

We had a very enjoyable 9-holes at Four Mile. The course was in very good shape given the dry season, altitude, and timing. Very good turf conditions in the fairway and the greens were smooth and true.

The facilities at the course are somewhat limited but the friendliness of the staff was great. This was our first time here and it is a bit off the track from Denver but well worth the visit if you are in the area.

The course has some unique holes on the front (didn’t see the back). The greens are challenging but on a few holes very forgiving (depending on the placements).

All in all, a great round of golf.

Unique golf experience

Very friendly staff!! From out of town rental clubs left a lot to be desired. Never played a course where there was a blind approach on a part five. Also part three with a aiming pole very unique. Probably the most undulated greens I’ve ever play. Have to see to believe. All in all I enjoyed my Round and Ewood play the course again if I were in the area.. luckily I was playing with a local that knew the course and was able to help me out with some blind shots

Amazing golf course

The golf course was brilliant, the staff as well were excellent and kind, even gave me a free ball marker and a bucket of range balls. The range is very unique, as is the entire course. There’s a lot of fun blind holes and when you aren’t in the rough or fairway, good luck finding the ball. Overall it was an amazing experience, just a shame there wasn’t any bar/restaurant connected with the course. For the price I’d definitely recommend trying this course!

Watch out for those hot deals!

Unfortunately, we got there and the greens had just been punched in sanded. We should’ve suspected something when we saw the.hot deal of 50 bucks a player. Would be nice if it was mentioned on GolfNow when you buy the tee time. Other than that, the only other complaint I had is that they did not have marshals and allowed people to play groups of five with extremely slow pace of play.. On a positive note, the rest of the course conditions were pretty good and the views are epic!
