Milllcroft 9 holes
This is a 9-hole course now that they will be building homes on the front 9. The course is a good test of your iron and short game. There are two par-5 holes that will test your long game, but the rest are mainly shorter par-4's. The course plays 2750 yards from the Blue tees, which is what I played. The course is in good shape, with the biggest challenges on your 4th and 5th holes. The 4th is a long par 3 that plays all of 188 yards from the blue tees. You play it over a creek and need to avoid bunkers protecting the green on all sides. The 5th is a long part 4 (over 400 yards) dog-leg left that requires a strategically placed tee shot long enough to give you a shorter approach over water to a heavily guarded green (bunkers left). Those holes test your game and resolve. The others are fairly straight forward and fun to play. I would recommend and will play again.
Perfect except for pond bunkers
Unfortunately the heavy rain from the day before created many soggy areas and pond bunkers.
Great day
Golfed with 3 buddies. Mid fifty's. Good round. Great weather and company. So far, since I have been playing there, the golfers have been very friendly.
Having fun
Good weather and the other threesome were nice fit.
Great track for a quick 9
Enjoyable course with some quirky but challenging holes.
Millcroft Golf Club 9 holes
I used to really like this course until they trimmed it down to 9 holes. I still like the 9 hole layout. That is, except for the par 5 they cut down to a short par 4. I understand they are building more homes on the front 9 land. It is still a good track, but was so much better when it was 18.
Great
Love the course, love the staff…just a little expensive for that 9 hole course
