Deerfield Golf Course

The course was in excellent condition and the Marshall's kept the pace of play flowing at an acceptable pace.

We really enjoyed playing there and look forward to playing there again soon.

Always friendly inside and the starter, nice to always go inside. Pace of play is definitely an issue. Poor etiquette with a lot of players watching each other hit and then going to their ball and repeating instead of ready golf. On course Marshall’s drive around but don’t stop to ask how pace is when they should and warnngroups to pick it up . Always a good value but always requires patience to play there.

Always a nice round at Deerfield. Somewhat challenging (for me), interesting holes. We walked and it was raining through part of our game but it still didn't deter us. Looking forward to playing this course again.

Last minute booking with good discount. Condition of course is good and good pace within 4 hours play. Marshall on course friendly and not pushy.

Deerfield Golf Club in Oakville charges a premium to play, but the customer service does not come close to matching the price.

From the pro shop to the snack bar, the attitude is consistently poor. After playing a round during a heat wave, I went into the pro shop looking for some water. They had a cooler of water available, but no cups. When I asked the snack bar employee for a cup, instead of simply helping, he made snarky comments saying cups were not provided, that I should have thought ahead, and sarcastically asked if I was trying to make them go bankrupt — all over a cup of water after a hot round of golf.

For a course that charges premium rates and still expects tips at the snack bar, the lack of basic courtesy is disappointing. It feels like they act as if they are doing you a favour by letting you play there.

Unfortunately, this is not a one-time experience. Every time I have gone, the service has been poor. Save your money and play somewhere else where customers are treated with respect.

Decent layout and pace. You feel relaxed while playing here. Walking is an option as the course is not hilly

Firs round of the year for me and this place was great! Fairways were clean and the greens were pretty nice. Little bit muddy cause of the rain the day before but overall really nice!

Hope the weather gets better soon. The course is too wet to be enjoyable!
