Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Great layout
Fun course and was in great shape. It has a great layout with a good mix of holes. My only complaint would be the lack of ambassador/ marshals enforcing pace of play. Our last 4 holes were extremely slow, with 4 groups on a par five at one time. Good practice area and range.
Very fun course
This course was very fun and very challenging with the wind. I would play this course again if I come back the only issue I had where the greens were very good but very slow.
Good luck
Croweded with slow, bad golfers. Don't expect normal pace of play. Bunkers are all under repair, fairways are decent. Hole layout is uninspiring and short.
Loved the course layout
The staff was super friendly. The course was more challenging that what I normally play but it was fair. Fairways and greens were in pretty good shape. Cart paths had some crracks in them. The group ahead of us was super slow and the marshall never talked to them. It was one of those groups that waiits for the group in fromt of them to hit their 3rd shot on a par 5 before they tee off. Ridiculous. Anyway, I liked the course.

Bathroom on the back 9
I love this course, the club, and the staff, but they really need to figure out getting a bathroom on the back 9.

Will not be back
I would much rather go play a course that charges $50 because it felt like the same kind of experience. The greens were slow in some parts, even though they looked overseeded and pressed. The carts were terrible (1 in our group had a ball and club washer the other didn’t, no GPS either), the cart paths were broken in many parts, the fairways and any part of the course not around the green was rock hard, the greens were super soft creating a very weird contrast, the bunkers were terrible, the pace of play was awful (the group in front of us had a hole in between them and the next group for most of the round), there were hardly restrooms on the course, the halfway house was a joke and the range was underwhelming. I will certainly never be back and will be happy paying $40-$50 at a course like Watters Creek, Pecan Hollow, Oak Hollow or Ridgeview Ranch to have the same conditions (even better in some regards). All around terrible experience for $105+ tax, the only bright spot was the Marshall named Dale, he was a pleasure to talk to and deserves a raise. He was truly the only good part of the club.
Course needs proper signage and the design seems changing
It was a great day. They tried to pack foursomes which leads to extended time for each grouping. Biggest problem is this course seems to have changed the overall design and holes structure every now and then. The signs are not updated or positioned properly so folks have no idea where is their pin. I think there are atleast 5 holes that could be confusing which pin to go to.
Great course!
Greens are nice, layout is great. Just a wonderful course overall.

Fun course
Course is I’m pretty good shape coming out of winter. Looks like it’s set up to be really great come spring. Course layout is fun. Good mix of forgiving and challenging holes.

Great option north of Dallas
Enjoy the layout and condition of the course. It’s a fun round with enough versatility to keep it interesting. My only issues have been going from green to tee can be a challenge for someone who hasn’t been there before. The cart path goes multiple directions at times and can lead to different boxes along the way. Specifically last round, sand traps were packed and flakey to hit out of, but did notice they might be about to work on them. Range is probably above average. The staff and marshals are friendly and pace pretty good.

Course well-maintained
For early February, the greens, tees and course in general was in great shape and very playable. The staff was very friendly and the beverage cart lady worked hard to be available several times. A fun day!
