Ridgeview Ranch Golf Club

Enjoyed the course and have always loved the layout. Greens are much improved as are tee boxes and fairways. Seemed to be a number if broken sprinklers around greens and tee boxes creating large muddy areas, but generally not in play. Having no water on the course for players is a downer. And please do a remodel in the men's room, its atrocious.

I don't normally take the time to write out reviews but the grumpy guy running counter was miserable. I smiled through it though and made it a fun round. The starter was a great, happy guy who sent us off right on time. Course was fun and in decent shape, some of the tee boxes were a little shaggy but nothing worth whining about. Good course for 80 dollar Sunday round. would prefer to pay around 60 for it with cart so will probably still to weekday round next time there.

Played in 4 hours on a beautiful Sunday. course has come along way. Greens improved. Fairways and boxes great and bunkers like-new.

They had some green issues earlier in the year, but the greens were much better. Most of the greens were in great shape. Fun course layout.

Still not the course it used to be but it’s improving! The staff is friendly! The pace of play was good. We finished in under 4 hours.

I played as a part of a 3 some on a Saturday and it almost took 5 hours and 45 minutes. This is just too long. Everything else was great greens have improved quite a bit and the bunkers did have sand. I was pleased with everything except the pace of play.

I played this course a few months ago and it was absolutely terrible. The greens were basically half sand half po. They really turned it around much faster than I thought was possible. The greens are actually really good now. Will play again soon.

Was hesitant to play because of several negative reviews about greens. Found that the course was in very good/excellent shape including the greens. Saw that the green restoration project had been completed recently. The fairways and traps were in good shape as well. Would recommend this course.

Overall, Ridgeview is a decent golf course with a good layout, but for around $80, I expected a little more.

The staff in the pro shop weren’t friendly nor welcoming, and the interaction felt very rushed, almost like they were just trying to get you out of the way as quickly as possible. It honestly made you feel more like a nuisance than a customer.

I was also pretty surprised that there was no water available out on the course. To me, that’s a basic amenity every golf course should provide, especially in Texas. I’ve played much cheaper courses that still have water stations available throughout the round.

As far as the course itself, the greens were actually in really good shape and were probably the highlight of the experience. The fairways were more inconsistent. There were several areas with standing water and mud, and I also noticed water sitting in a few of the bunkers.

It’s not a bad course by any means, and the layout is enjoyable, but at the $80 price point, I’ve played other courses in the area that offer a better overall experience.

Been awhile since I have played but the improvements and course maintenance is doing very well…especially from the summer weather. I am glad this course has been rejuvenated from the mess it was in a few years ago. Great day and great course!

The course was in great shape. The greens were excellent and the tee boxes were superb. There was a few muddy areas but my fault for mishitting my shot into them.

Just over 3 hour round no blemishes in greens… fairways were solid… tee boxes well manicured can’t complain

I honestly can’t believe the turnaround this course has made this year. I almost hesitate to make this review because I don’t want everybody coming back. I can’t believe how great the conditions are of the greens now compared to what they were earlier this year. Although they aren’t perfect on the front, they are in really good shape. The greens on the back are nearly flawless. The fairways are also so much more lush and green and there’s a lot of new sand in the bunkers. This is one of my favorite tracks, so I am very happy to put it back in the rotation. Now they just need to spend some money on the driving range and get new mats and this place will be overrun with people.

Wanted to enjoy the round. By 12:30 tee box 3 groups behind. 3 hour10 minute front nine. No ranger. Cart girl seen once in 9 holes and out of water. Disappointing.
