Royal Niagara Golf Club - Escarpment Course
About
The Escarpment Course is one of three nine-hole courses at Royal Niagara Golf & Country Club. The course is so named for its layout, which begins at the base of the Niagara Escarpment and snakes upwards to the top of the wooded Escarpment; afterwards it goes back downhill to the clubhouse. The golf course has been built to championship standards with carefully sculpted fairways and cavernous bunkers. There are also undulating greens and water hazards coming into play throughout. The challenging round is complemented by the scenic views provided by Royal Niagara Golf & Country Club's idyllic location between the Escarpment, the Bruce Trail and the Welland Canal

Great coarse
Great coarse for the money. A little challenging for a 20 handicap greens were fast and small landing zone.
Big course with very cool greens!
Quite enjoyed this course, did not get to play Ironbound 9, Escarpment 9 was moderately difficult, however, the Old Canal....now that sucker has some bite to it. Fabulous green undulations, plan to 3 putt a few greens if you are on the wrong level. Great conditions throughout.
Perfect Day and Perfect Course
Our first time at the course and we loved it! It was the best public course we have played in the last two years! The fairways were carpet-like maintained and greens were challenging. We loved the course and we will play again at this course with friends in the near future!
Nice courses with very friendly staff
Great experience, although driving carts was not allowed in fairways due to heavy rain previously.
Brand new rental clubs, friendly and supportive staff.
Nice course
Course conditions were good, bunkers were nice fluffy white sand, tee boxes were kept nicely and greens were well manicured. The course is tough but fair. Choose your weapons wisely all‼️🤪
Course layout
This is one of those courses that you stood on the tee and said where is the green which way is the fairway going where do we hit too. After way too may holes like that I said I'll never come back. Not a good experience.
Thought it would be good it wasn't many other courses in Niagara on the lake that are much better.
Not expensive so I guess you get want you pay for
