Oakland Greens Golf and Country Club

The course was in pristine condition. The greens are challenging and fast. The marshals are great. The course appeared packed and an 18 hole round only took 3 hours 40 min - pace of play was solid.

Played Oakland Greens on a Friday with an 8:22 tee time booked through Golfnow. Pulled up to 1st tee around 8:20 and there were 4 (yes FOUR) groups waiting in front of us. Starter was a nice man, but gave no reason why this course was so backed up, except saying "it's always like this on Fridays". Frost was not an issue. It just seems that the senior members "old boys club" can walk on and play whenever. Completely unorganized and unacceptable.

Course is laid out well but needs some attention in the areas of tee boxes ( not re seeded) , fairways green but hard, some greens need repair

The greens were in the best shape I've seen them. The course has a nice layout, with quite a few holes that demand good choices in shot making.

I played this course in June from the white tees and enjoyed the game immensely this time I decided to go off from the blues and it's a completely different course. The view of each hole from the blue tees is much more natural. The challenges from the blue tees with the force carries and taking into consideration trees that normally would not coming to play from the white tees made the game a lot more fun. The condition of the course was very good the fairways have been cut short and produced fairly long runs up to the greens. The greens were in good shape and the course itself looks like a high quality course. I recommend this course.

I enjoyed playing this course. The area has been very dry with little rain recently. This made the tee boxes and fairways crusty and hard. Greens were in good shape and very puttable. Only issue I had was a couple groups dragging their heels. Overall, was enjoyable and I would play again.

We arrived at the course and there were no cars in the parking lot. Granted, heavy rain was scheduled for the next six hours. Off we went. Tee conditions were good, sand traps had lots of sand that was still playable despite the rain. The greens took getting used to with a longer cut and saturated surface, putts were slow and not breaking. The holes were interesting and quite scenic. Some holes had double water crossings so shot placement and control was needed. I highly recommend this course and don't forget the bug spray.
