About

Alsatian GC is an 18-hole with water in play. Front side fairly open and flat, almost links type play. Hole 2 surrounded by waterways and bunkers. Back side is hilly and has lots of trees. Super finishing hole with a tree in center of uphill fairway.

Throughout the course you will find challenging and beautiful fairways lined with trees and Spanish Dagger. The course also offers distance wedge game range, practice bunkers, three-level putting green, and a pre-round putting green.

Lodging: The Alsatian Inn is located approximately two miles from the club. A very nice facility, it has ninety rooms, a swimming pool, and a really good restaurant. Children under the age of fourteen stay free.

Distance: About 30 minutes from downtown on Highway
90 West to Castroville. But worth the trip....  Take Highway 90 West through Castroville; turn right at the blinking light just past the Alsatian Inn; veer left on CR 4516. Course is 2.5 miles down on the right.

Good Course

Havr played several times and given the dormant time of year the course was in very ggod shape...the greens were some of the best played lately....they were fast yet held well for well struck. It's not the hardest course around but for the price and good conditions worth the trip

Worth the trip

Thoroughly enjoyed my round. Course has a different feel front 9 vs back 9. Great shape for the money you pay. Free water and cooler a huge plus.

Nice Getaway

I love getting out an away from the big city! The staff at this course is always improving its grounds! Friendly and attentive to your needs. It’s a nice get away course to spend the whole day and evening!

Nice course, good condition, great staff!

We are monthly members and play 3 times a week. The course is challenging and is in better conditions than the like priced courses in the area. The staff is excellent! They are friendly and helpful. A little out of our way but a great value.

Pace of play could be better at times, too many 5 somes lately.

You can’t finish a round because of slow play at times but you can always enjoy Juliana’s!

Thank you for the review. I am very sorry the friendliness was only fair. I am also sorry about the pace of play. I have several marshals and a starter on weekends. We were booked solid until 3pm on Sunday! I surely hope you come back!

Nice Course

Greens are smooth and true, but way too fast for amateurs. Uphill putts are manageable, but downhill they are slick. fast and extremely difficult to stop near the hole.

Really nice shape

Even after the hard freeze a week ago the course is in really nice shape. No dead spots on the greens. Tee boxes are in good shape. Fairways are brown but in good shape. It's a fun course to play.
