Short, but good
The greens are the worst part. Front 9 is short, but open. If you slice, like I do, it's fantastic. Back 9 is longer and more difficult, but harder for slicers, like most courses. My only issue is the condition of the back 9 greens. They have some sort of disease that makes them impossible to line up. They will cost you 3 to 6 strokes per round. Other than that, course is fantastic. I will play again.
Excellent Staff
Staff was very accommodating. Short carts so we hung out at the bar and were able to score 2 hot dogs and a beer before our round. Staff communicated very well. A couple of chewed up boxes on the back 9. Cool setup with the two 9's being opposite in tree coverage.
Great Value
I love this course. It was my first time out this year and I wanted something easier to work on my iron game.
Course Conditions
This used to be a well kept up course. Tee boxes were hard as a rock. Made it difficult to insert tee in the ground. Greens were lush but slow like they hadn’t been cut
First Time Out
We got amazing day for our first time out and we were recommended the front nine at this out of the way, country course, specifically because it seems to cater to beginners, those who are teaching us, and the ones who just want to get a quick round in. As a wedding photographer by trade, I can tell you that this is not a glamourous golf club, so if you are looking for that, go elsewhere. I've read in the comments that it looks like it was likely a converted farmer's field at some point, I'd bet good money on that. However, the grass was nice, the golf carts ran well, the staff was friendly, parking was easy, and it didn't seem buggy. We got great weather, the other patrons, clearly some as new as we were, were happy to play around/through us, and we all had a great evening.
Nice short course, all par 3 and par 4.
Not a bad course honestly, well maintained, and for the price it is a bit of fun. I've been twice now though, and both times have been a bit strange at the clubhouse. I'm not sure if they just get a lot of players with very poor etiquette or if this is just how they treat everyone. Clubhouse staff has been quite rude both times I've been, generally being very suspicious of myself and the small group of 4 I've been there twice to play a round with. Again nice course, but I wouldn't make a special trip to golf here again simply due to treatment from the staff, it isn't all that nice.
Nice Short Course to play
I played the back 9 here on Sunday evening, the first time i have played here. Nice short and quick playing 9 holes but still challenging due to the back 9 being in the forest with tight fairways and some hazards. The Cart i had was clean and in good shape. A fawn came out of the woods to visit me as a bonus. When I was finished playing staff received my cart and cleaned and disinfected it. Overall a nice little course would recommend based on value.
get what ya pay for
cheap price, very easy course. terrible layout....they have a hole that is 75 yards...11 par 3s. every par 4 green is drivable
Great value!
Great course to tune up your game and focus on sticking greens. Treat it like a true links course and leave the drivers in the trunk. Very cheap prices!
Weak
This course seems like it was placed in what used to be a farm field. The holes are close together, there are no yardage markers outside of the one next to the tee, and the course doesn't appear to be well kept. The "Pro Shop" and restaurant were basically in the same room in the same building which is weird.
They take good care of grounds
Very friendly staff! We really appreciate how well they keep twit grounds! Greens are excellent!
nice
Nice people. Great conditions always. Good price.
If you need to brush up on your short game, this is the place to go. You won't find many places that are in this condition, no bare spots on/or around he greens. Play it!
Good course to improve your short game.
this course is good to use your short irons. To judge the distance with your irons and see how your short game is going. it will test your chipping and putting to try to improve on chipping the ball closer to the hole.
This course is horrible
Too short of a course and I would not suggest this to anyone. Golfnow messed up the price for this course.
First time
We played the first 9 holes on this course. The holes we pretty much straight away from the tee. This was a good thing because I took my daughter out for the first time and it was the perfect course for the situation. I would bring my daughter back to this course because it's it's the perfect course for beginners. Also it's in a quiet area and great atmosphere.
Great for a beginner or youngster
I brought my 7 year old son out to golf, and this is a perfect facility for that. Straight, easy layout of the holes are perfect for beginners. The pace of play was good for such an outing.
Course for beginners
Brand new remodel of clubhouse underway. Front nine is wide open and great for beginners
