Bayou Golf Course

The course overall is great the front nine has a few holes along the water that could built up. The 1,3,4,6 and 8 could be built up to stop the salt water from killing the grass. Overall the course is in good shape and fun to play.

Over all the course is in great condition. The greens are absolutely beautiful and fast.

Hometown course coming back lots of upgrades from the past. Very friendly staff, easy to make a tea time. Pitch put in driving range always available for short or long iron practice. Multiple putting greens for short game practice.

We enjoyed the course. Greens were fast and challenging. The was not crowded, but there is some minor construction.

I like the people there. The Marshall is very nice.

Conditions were good, the only knock on this place was the tee boxes need some work. Overall this course is great! Staff was friendly and the folks on the course were respectful and friendly.

Great little course. It was wet and had construction on a new bridge that rerouted you to play holes out of order but once I figured it out it was good. Course got a lot of rain so was soft, no rollout or not much. I’ll definitely be back.

Course is under construction. Back 9 has a Mickey Mouse layout do to construction. The fairways are so poor you never know where the green is located. The fairway is missing in many places the ground was like hitting off concrete in spots and a bunker in others.

Biggest thing you pay money and no where is it said there is construction, until you get to the starter. Then where is no construction there is no fairway. Locals only on this goat track.

Bayou golf course is a great value! It doesn’t have all the amenities of some of the more expensive courses, but it is a fun course to play. The staff was friendly. They are renovating, so you play the back 9 2 times through. Nice setting. Great course for beginner to intermediate golfers. Just beware of the gator in the pond at home 14. He seems pretty harmless though.

Booked a teatime at 2:50 for 3 o’clock and I ran late and there was amazing staff very easy-going nice environment

It's been a while since I played Bayou and I was happy with the conditions. The course plays firm but is a good and fair test. The layout of Bayou GC is especially good, in my opinion, especially the front nine. There are nicer courses to play but the value is great, the layout is great and the course is in as good of shape as I've ever seen it. The location also gives a breezy golfing experience, which is always nice in the Houston summers..

Aside from the first 4 holes that have always had some sort of water/drainage issues, the course was in pretty good shape! The tee boxes and greens were all in very good condition, and the back-9 was in especially good shape! I think this course has come a long way in the past few years from a maintenance perspective. Always a good value if you know whqat to expect!
