There are dirt patches everywhere, no signs telling where to go, bad layout of holes, the driving range lands directly on hole 10, the green is thick grass and is closer to a fairway. The back 9 is better than the front but still needs substantial work
Softening and Greening Up!
The course finally got some rain after a recent few days of storms moving through and it's beginning to recover from the earlier drought conditions. The greens were aerated and sanded but still ran pretty true and the speed wasn't terribly affected. As I've now played this course about 6 times, a rather undesirable trend has developed particularly with the senior tees. 4 of the 5 par 3s are roughly between 130-140 yards which makes it a bit boring. Easy for scoring though. :) All in all, this course is really shaping up for Spring and early Summer play. Hit it now before it starts to get really hot in June.
Great value
Fun course, challenging layout, and overall an incredible value.
Not Bad for Drought Conditions
Everything is dry and fairly hard packed. This course has a lot of rocky soil areas anyway, but the fairways were pretty sketchy as well. We took a LOT of liberty moving the ball around to find a decent place to hit from. And even when you found some grass it was a pretty tight lie. However, the greens were soft enough that the ball gripped fairly well. No huge bounces. Some of the greens had some pretty dried out spots but it was playable, and they ran true enough for the conditions. Like I said, we are in an extended drought season so you have to lower your expectations across the board. It's not bad enough that I wouldn't play.
Good course for the money
Solid course for the money. Tee boxes are for the most part pretty good. Fairways are pretty good. Greens are always good.
Fine for the Price
Got a hot deal for $21.99 for 18 holes with a cart. Great price, but once you are on the course, it makes sense as to why. Rough tee boxes, barely groomed fairways, Greens that are hard as rocks, a few very tight holes bordering other holes going to opposite direction. Overall, worth the price but not much more. Friendly staff. A Hot dog is $6 at the bar.
Better than working
Good layout enjoyed the round. Course was very wet and it was a windy day. All in all, a great day.
Fun Day
The course was well maintained its winter so didn’t expect much but the greens were nice had a fun day
Pretty solid
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course layout was a little confusing. Also, it wasn’t a busy day but the pace was still not the greatest with multiple big groups.
