Two different courses in one
The front nine was a back and forth style layout. The back 9 was one of the most challenging 9 holes I’ve ever played. The greens were fast.
Awesome
What a great little Track, and the greens were awesome. The best part was the people working. Definitely worth a little drive.
Great Course
Me and my best friend played here a few weeks ago because it is close to our homes, we have looked at many courses and compared prices on for each course. We decided to play here and we had alot of fun. I played the other day by myself and still had fun. I would recommend this course for any golf level.
Good greens are not enough
The greens are in excellent condition…that’s about the only good thing about the course. Problems are…burnt out fairways, bad tee boxes, very bad fringe areas around the greens. And….the worst…the back 9 is such a silly layout that it’s borderline unplayable!
Also…the holes handicaps are silly. The 520yd par 5 is the 18 handicap hole?
Bottom line…play somewhere that is a real golf course because this isn’t.
Nice green but a bit slow
Found back nine was more challenging than front nine.
Looonnnngggg
Great place. White tees to long for a 70 yr old. Greens were excellent. Fairways were good…
Country Surprise
Out in the middle of nowhere ( just north of Rushville , Indiana ) theres a really nice golf course . .Antler Pointe has hills , water , great par 3's and really nice fairways and greens .
Very impressive country course
Very well maintained, greens were in excellent shape and held. Not what you would expect from your typical rural course!
Great course and great experience
Drove from Columbus to play this course and would drive it again. Golf now rate was great and everything about this course was great.
From the tree needs to the greens which were some odd the best I’ve played. Course layout was great and challenging but I love a challenge. Highly recommend this course.
Antler Point Review
the staff are amazing! I enjoy this course more than any other course in Indiana! everything is VERY well taken care of and you will not regret going to play 18!
Best Course in South Central Indiana
Antler Pointe is a hidden gem in Rushville. The course is well-kept with some fun, challenging holes, but still forgiving enough for casual golfers. The greens rolled smooth, and the fairways were in good shape for the season. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, making it a great small-town golf experience. It’s not fancy, but it’s a laid-back place to enjoy a round with friends. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
Pace of play and greens are excellent
Don’t worry about reviews past 2021, it’s a completely different course now. Fairways are full and cut low. Grass throughout the course are fully manicured. Greens are as good as any in the state. They roll true and have a lot of character. Front 9 and back 9 are two different animals. Front 9 is more of an open layout. Back 9 has holes bending around trees, rivers, and pond.
Full driving range open all year is a huge plus. Being able to hit off grass or mats year around is great.
Massive Upgrades
Have played this course for years and it is a night and day difference now that it is under new ownership. Has gone from looking like a goat ranch to a very respectable golf course in only a couple years and the changes and improvements are still coming! Fairways, greens, and tee boxes are in great shape. Take previous reviews with a grain of salt, because this is not the same course it was just 2 years ago.
Nice country course
The new owners of this former Elks Course have really made some nice improvements. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes are all in excellent shape. Nice upgrades to the clubhouse and new carts.
The layout is interesting with the front nine being fairly open and forgiving. The back seems much more challenging and varied. The course has a neat setting out in the middle of farmlands with nice views and a river that runs along the back. Staff was friendly, overall definitely worth checking out!
Surprisingly Very Good Course
Glad I did not listen to previous reviews - wow were they wrong!! I don’t know what those previous reviews were based on, but this course is a hidden gem. It has 8 of the 9 original Diddel greens that are worth the trip alone to this course. Only the 10th has been significantly altered. I might even recommend playing the course to see the 12th hole and green alone.
The back 9 is tight in places, but that’s to be expected as it plays through a forest. Several of the greens have some patchy areas, but it appears they are working on it. The greens on the front 9 were great and the greens on the back 9 out of the forest were in great shape. The Fairways were longer than expected, but while on site they were cutting/ lowering the height.
The greens and contours alone coupled with the elevation changes throughout the course made for a great day!
