Tight fairways
Just played cranberry valley gc and had a good round. Fairways very tight, not good for hooks or slices. Course layout was good, but signage could have been better, had to ask where 1st tee was. Overall, one of the best courses on the cape.
Great overall. But there were issues.
I have played this course many times and always had a good experience. This visit got off to a bad start. I was a single who was added to a threesome. Unfortunately the threesome wanted to play with 3 carts and play as a foursome. They had 4 people and wanted to play a scramble which screwed up my time. I was able to play with a couple 30 minutes later. The starter tried to correct the earlier issue with the threesome but they wouldn’t cooperate or listen to the starter.
The other issue is the carts. The have some kind of navigation system which shuts off the cart if you are not close enough to the cart paths. If you hit a ball in the trees or off the fairway you have to park on the fairway and walk to find your ball. My cart stopped several times and was very annoying to start up again. The staff did not mention this system to me or anyone who is new to the course. They should tell every golfer about this system. It’s also to sensitive. It’s very aggravating and I would consider not playing here because it’s annoying.
A little pricey, no water on course
Like to see closer to $100 for a Tuesday round, there wasn't any water on the course or drinks cart all day. It was not hot when we played, but water is still a must for me for 4.5 hours.

Other than that, in pretty good shape for this time of year.

People need to fix ball marks on greens a little bit more, otherwise happy with the course.
Great Course
A true test of golf. Great layout. Course in great shape. Tee times spaced out 10 minutes. Great practice facility. Highly recommend
