Pace of Play was bad
I play this course several times a month, and the pace of play this past Sunday (8/16). Was the slowest it's ever been. I teed off at 1124 AM and I got back in my car at 445 pm. That's 5 hours 21 minutes! The starter kept checking in but nothing sped the round up. Even if they asked the groups to move quicker no one did. I played good but I was miserable the entire round because of pace of play. I'm praying that I never experience a round that long again. This has never happened before so I don't think it will become common, but if it does I'll be searching for a new home course.
Great course and excellent customer service
I accidentally setup my tee time for the wrong day and when we got there they corrected it and fit us in to play! I would recommend this course to anyone!
A 'Hidden Gem'
Lots of challenges here.
Pin placement makes every round different.
Cart paths need MAJOR upgrade.
The worst course I’ve ever played I felt like I got robbed without a gun for $87. I’ll show you pictures of a course I played in other states for 60 that course is not worth more than $40. Mud rocks everywhere lol that place is a joke
Crystal Lake
First time playing this course mostly in very good shape and challenging layout. Greens were in good shape very quick and lots of slope! I’d definitely recommend this course
Pace of Play Was BRUTAL
I play here a lot and this past weekend was the slowest I've ever played 18 holes. The frustrating part is the starter said something immediately, but no one did anything to follow up and make sure that pace of play was kept. It took 5 plus hours to finish 18 holes. We waited on every tee shot and every approach shot. I don't care if the guys in front of us are regulars. 5 hours is unacceptable for a course that is not that long.
Greens haven’t quite recovered from aeration. Could use some weed eating done to improve the looks of the course. Nonetheless we enjoyed playing there. Finally found a course with worse cart paths than the course I play at home.LOL
Always a pleasure
Crystal Lake has arguably the best greens in the Merimack Calkey. The money put into the course over the last ten years has brought it to a myst play course. Very walkable course and pace if play is great
Glorious day with the Grandsons!
Greens in very good shape, + the maintenance crew has handled the wetness very well
Hot
Little disappointed that on a record heat day, there was no water cooler anywhere on the course. The cooler in the pro shop didn’t get the beverages cold either.
Got a cart with a bad bearing. Had no problem swapping it out which was nice.
