Fantastic layout/design. Fun to play. Some greens a tees were in tough condition but were actively working on repairing

The staff was wonderful but the greens were in horrible shape. The only thing that made it worse was having to follow the owner’s wife during the 2nd half of our round. They had 2 empty holes ahead of them while we all stacked up behind them.

Between the stopping for group selfies, high fiving after every shot, and going together to each ball, then standing and talking about their shot, it was the most horrible round of golf having to follow these people. The total disregard for etiquette as well as the other players on the course was unbelievable.

FYI, the ranger mentioned that the owner “would fire him” if anything was said to his wife. A truly sad state of affairs at Merrimack Valley.

Merrimack Valley GC is a very interesting course with 7 par 3s and 5 par 5s. The greens were faster than they appeared and in good condition. They were also a bit tricky. The course distance, while not long, actually played a bit longer due to elevated approach shots on the Par 4s & 5s.

All 8 of our players gave it a thumbs up and would play it again.

The greens need work and be maintained. Lots of rough patches & bumps

Dry as a bone. Bummer it was fun when it was in shape.

The course in general is in good condition, and they are working on replacing tee boxes. However, there are greens and tee boxes that are in tough shape. Having to play sometimes alongside the red &white boxes !

I would still recommend playing there. Just be aware of the Issues.

Nice layout and conditions were ok. Terrible course mgt. No ranger and way too close to close times. Course under construction and not a good value for the $.

We truly enjoy playing this beautiful and challenging course. The course itself is in very good condition and well maintained. Work is being done to create some new tee boxes. Will most certainly play here again!

Such a shame, this course used to be one of my favorites, but for a $90 round the greens were some of the worst I’ve seen. Players don’t fix their ball marks, the greens had many dry patches, and it looked like players dragged their spikes all over the greens.

Fun track

A few bunkers are funky with weeds growing but otherwise good shape.

Looking forward to going back.
