Hidden Gem
An absolutely beautiful, hidden gem of a course.
Previously a member only course, it was privately acquired 3 years ago and opened to the public.
The new management team has done an excellent job upgrading the fairways and greens. The layout was challenging enough to be fun. For newer players, the rolling hills may be difficult, but for the moderate to advanced, they will enjoy the views.
The front nine is situated through hills while the back nine winds through a housing development.
I would definitely recommend.
A hidden gem
A previous member only club, this is truly a hidden gem in Lake Orion.
The front 9 set on rolling hills with challenging dogleg shots and greens you couldn't see from the tee box. The back 9 is situated throughout a lovely housing community.
The fairways were surprisingly well maintained and lush. The greens cared for, which showed in ball speed. Surprisingly, there were terrain drops off some fairway where it was a 10–15-foot drop.
My only grip, there were a lot of younger, college aged 4-somes that held up the pace. Nothing I would overly complain about, however.
Overall, a really great course for the value. I would definitely play again.
Nick and crew are the best around anywhere
Nick is always awesome and the course is one of our favorites to play. Would work here and play here.
Great day today out there for the weather being colder.
Good Early round on the year
Went on a whim seeing it on here and wanted to take the hour drive to see what this place was all about, neighboring another good country club I've played before I knew it was a good area and this place didn't disappoint! Coming back for sure. Minus a couple tee boxes under construction, which I can't give a hoot and not even complaining, great course!
You Won’t Be Disappointed
I’ve played a variety of courses this summer across Oakland and Macomb County. Paint Creek is at the top of the list for well kept greens, fairways, and course layout. It’s in a beautiful setting and had just the right amount of sand and water to be challenging. I look forward to returning for a full 18 since we only played nine. It was after work and we still finished before dark.
Don’t tell anyone
This place is a hidden gem. Great pace of play. Nice layout. Not a huge fan of houses on the course but not the end of the world. Unreal value for weekend play.
Nice course
I liked the course really nice but super expensive
A hidden gem
Paint Creek Country Club is a great golf course. I am glad they have opened it up for public play. The course is in excellent condition. Golf Now always has good deals at some very great courses.
Greens were fast and in good shape. The course was challenging but fair. I hadn't played PCCC in about 20 years. It was great and I will be back.
Great time
For what everyone else is charging You guys have great rates for a wonderful course. Couple tee boxes were chewed up/on slopes but nothing can be perfect. Had great conversations with member with black hair and glasses in pro shop and then again with cart washer after the round. Always bring anyone I can, and am looking forward to coming back soon.
