Crown Golf Club

I know this is the time of year when courses are arrayed…BUT, two points…first, they should let people know that the greens are rolling terribly because of the plugging but not rolling the greens after plugging…the balls hopped all over the place when putting. Second, the price should be adjusted because of the terrible greens…very disappointing day as I took guests there to show off the course (which is gorgeous under normal circumstances) but was a bummer this time.

They closed the front 9 for aeration. I figured the back would be ok. It wasn't. The greens were heavily aerated and impossible to putt. Very disappointed and embarrased because I invited 3 players. I wish they would have warned me.

Enjoyable course, friendly staff, wonderful experience.

Course layout was fun, hilly but not terribly to the point all the shots have unorthodox lie. We enjoyed our round here.

I went to pay and the very nice lady told me what it was, and I said no Im playing 9 holes, and she said "I know". She knows, they all know, it's overpriced this year. Nice course, but it's not a resort level course. Paying for location to town I guess?

The course is in perfect shape. Greens are awesome. Rough was challenging but very playable. Staff was very pleasant and beverage cart girl had great selection of drinks. Great staff inside at the bar, and great atmosphere Highly recommend this course! Will play it again a few more times this summer!

Laid back northern Michigan course..challenging but fair

We enjoyed our round of golf so much that we are playing it again in three days. The fairways were a pleasure to hit from!

The staff could not be nicer at this course. The condition of the course was unbelievable. Must eat at Mulligan’s after. This course has it all. Highly recommend.
