They don’t care about your golf experience
Had 9:22 tee off - group of 6 older guys booked Black Heath, but showed up to Glacier. So Glacier just let them go out in front of us, even though the course was booked until 11ish
We had to wait every shot, about a 5-1/2 hour round
Slow frustrating round of golf
No Rangers working either
Great course for the value
It’s a Donald Ross course & if you know him they are tough! Great course with even better conditions! Always great pace of play & you can’t beat the range & price!!! Also my good to course!
Not worth it. It’s just not.
This was my fifth time playing glacier and it seems over the years. It has gotten progressively worse. For $70 on a morning weekend teatime is not something I would consider ever again. Tee times are booked every eight minutes, which isn’t terrible, there’s definitely worse courses out there, but after waiting for the two groups in front of us, we teed off four minutes late, and as some other reviews may mention, the starter can be rather rude. He was telling us to tee off to keep pace when the group in front of us was only 253 yards away. Three out of the four of our golfers drive 260+ consistently. Needless to say we weren’t gonna hit up on them or even pass them and risk kidding them so that set the tone for the day right off the bat. Fairway divots definitely are on us golfers to replace and repair to an extent, but the amount of times our balls landed in a divot that was not repaired was pretty significant. I didn’t notice any spots of the course that were under repair or being cared for by staff. The tea boxes have seen better days as well as countless holes being the same tea box for gold and black even though they show different yardages. Using some of the Golf GPS systems were off because the tea boxes were not matching up. Example on one hole a ball was right next to the 150 Mark, but I’m three of our apps. It said the distance was around 130 and on another hole. It was the opposite, we were around 150 but the app said 170. Of course techno is not everything and that’s partially why we have rangefinders, but if you don’t use a rangefinder, it’s hard to gauge distance if the course isn’t even correct. The greens were pitted with ball marks, not being repaired and lack of care by the course as well. Overall, I was very underwhelmed and was hoping for a much better experience, but my opinion $70 is not worth it. On top of that, no liquor license so there’s no alcohol and just not as good of an environment as it could be.
Great Course
Course was in great shape. Creative design. Lot of fun. Would definitely recommend.
Nice course
Nice course. Good conditions. Not sure what happened to the bar & grill. Better bring all your supplies with you. Don’t expect the clubhouse to have anything.
Liked the course. Fairways nice. Greens challenging.
Good day
Course was in good shape. I love the early bird special you have.
Beautiful course
Greens were fast. The course should notify customers to BYOB
Great value
Well maintained course with an interesting layout. Greens were tiered and very fast. Not a course you can expect to have your best round very challenging. I enjoyed it
Beautiful Course
Great course. Has an up north feel. Course is challenging, but fair.
