Course Closed when I arrived
I booked and paid for a GolfNow Hot Deal on Saturday afternoon for a Sunday morning tee time. The next morning, I drove 45 minutes to the course, only to find out when I arrived that the course was closed due to poor conditions.
The frustrating part is that it had not rained overnight, so this was clearly not a sudden weather issue. The course either knew or should have known it would be closed before allowing tee times to remain available on GolfNow. At a minimum, I should have been notified before I wasted my time driving there.
This turned what should have been a simple Sunday morning round into a two-hour waste of time. If a course is closed, tee times should not be listed or sold. I will not be returning, and I would caution others to confirm directly with the course before relying on a GolfNow booking here.
Quality and Faired Priced Golf
The course was soaked but still played great besides the two par 4s that had to be played as par 3s. Fair price so there's no room to complain.
Fast play
First time ever, I finished 18 In 2 5 hours. Mind you it's spring the course is wet and I was one of the first tee times but it was fast. Hopefully this will continue.
Early Spring Gem
Course is in very good condition for early spring. Busy, but moving. Very friendly staff. Practice greens, driving range, turn dogs. Looking forward to playing here again soon.
I liked it.
There were some rough tee boxes but for the most part it was in really good shape. Pretty good value for the rate. Carts were in good shape.
Awesome metropark
Public, municipal. Top in the area as I find it to be challenging every time. This course kicks butt. Great value also.
MY POV
Great course, that is also challenging. A course you will want to play multiple times.
