Pace could have been better if the turtle foursome in front of us (2) would have let us play thru. I know fore sure there were 2 open holes between them and the group they were behind but overall I didn’t let it bother us and we had a great time on Sunday C ya soon
Good course played 18 holes and seemed to have to wait on group in front of us on first 9 holes who seemed to be waiting on group in front of them. Might have squeezed in too many tee times close together
Course Great - 5 Somes Not So Great
Got backed up by two fivesomes playing the course, one on the front and one on the back. The person working knew the group was a 5 some and just let them start and play together. Love the course and the greens are wonderful!
i paid the same amount for a golf course that had elavated greens. smoother greens. i feel riverview is an average golf course. nothing spectacular. but this course does not do well after some rain. had to play cart path only today, but most of the cart paths were horrible. some were redone last year. but very out of the blue places. we would drive smooth, then very bumpy. when it is cart path only, there should be a reduced rate in my opinion, especially when the cart paths are NOT smooth
Nice 27 Holes
This course is well taken care of and has 27 holes to offer. The greens and everything are maintained very well but are not the fast tournament style some may be looking for. Average to large size greens and a large practice facility.
I imagine when the course first opened about 20 years ago, this was a very nice course. Needs work, but overall was fun until the storm hit. the oddest thing I remember was a cart path(newly paved) stretching directly across ( I think) the second fairway in which my son hit the edge of the asphalt on his low second shot and the ball richocheted to the left. Never saw a cart path across a fairway!
Course in Great Shape!
Wife and I played this course today and had a great time. The staff and pro shop are quality led while the course is in really good shape. We recommend this course and will continue to play on a regular basis.
Nice Downriver course!!
First time golfing this course. Found it on golfnow and added bonus was a good price as a hot deal. Tee time a little before 9 am on a weekday. Staff at the counter was friendly and the course was set up to comply with these new covid rules for golf courses. They had plastic barriers to divide the cart. But since it was me and my wife the barrier was not a specific requirement, but would work if I had been golfing with a buddy. Surprisingly we were able to start about 20 min early. I expected more play with an early tee time. We played in 18 in about 3 hours and 20 min. The course was fairly wide open overall. But I must say the best thing were the greens. Kudos to the maintenance guys that take care of this. They were true and rolled nice...quick but not unfair.!! This course is built in the shadows of a landfill which might be a negative to some. There was no noticeable odor at this time anyway...but might be IF the wind blew in the wrong direction from time to time. Seems this course has 3 9 hole courses...Red/Gold/Blue....We played the Red/gold on this day. Would play again for sure
