After hosting the 2015 U.S. Open, the Seattle-Tacoma area is back in the major championship spotlight as the host of the the 2016 KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Sahalee Country Club.
Unlike Chambers Bay, Sahalee is a private club. But while some cities' private golf course options are far superior to the public menu, that's not necessarily the case in this part of the Pacific Northwest, which has a nice collection of affordable and scenic destination courses to choose from.
It begins with Chambers Bay, of course, but there are plenty more options to choose from. I shared my top five courses to play with Gary Williams on Golf Channel's Morning Drive:
