Really like this course
I've always liked Tiburon. It's always in great shape and the staff is friendly. There was few people out that day due to the high winds. I has a tendency to be windy at Tiburon.
The course is a little expensive without a hot deal. Our hot deal was 23 plus fees and taxes. I feel there is enough decent courses in the area that are less expensive to play. However, if you don't mind the extra expense, it would probably be worth it to play there.
Amazing play
Space and pace of play is good and the fact they have 27 holes is amazing the view is pretty good even being surrounded by houses. Would recommend to anyone
Disappointed
My tee time was 1230 , a couple sprinkles made the starter tell us we are 10 minutes behind no biggie, we don’t get done until 6pm . Pace of play was horrible. We go in to the bar and grill for dinner where they tell us the grill closes at 5 on Sundays. That is just unacceptable 5 1/2 hour round on a 27 hole course. That mean over booked as we waited every hole.
The good. Course is well taken care of. I like the challenging layout. Every staff member was nice and professional . For the premium that is charged here is lost on slow play. Disappointed!
Solid Sunday!
Reserved tee time through golf now. 18 for one, was paired up with a 2 group. Tee off that I reserved was 7:34 AM, I let them know I was going to be a couple minutes late, and they were super accommodating. Course played a little slow but when the weather is as good as it was you have to be prepared for that. Cart girls and staff at the clubhouse were awesome. Great round overall, will definitely be back for another round!
Overpriced
I enjoy playing Tiburon but there are several things that prevent me from playing the course more frequently. The pro shop and concession staff are always welcoming and pleasant. The marshals have been overbearing every time I’ve been to the course. For the price of a round, I would expect the course to be well-manicured. That’s definitely not the case. When your ball settles into a divot on the green, it says a lot about the care of the course. There are several other nicer courses in the area that you can play for 70% or the cost of Tiburon. They’ve gotten overly comfortable and and have fallen behind with taking care of their course.
Fantastic Day on the Links!
Weather was perfect and the course was in awesome shape. Greens were fast but not super quick. Shots held and they were smooth. Bunkers were well manicured and the pace of play was excellent. The only negative was the driving range short flight golf balls but I understand the reason. I will definitely be back.
