Good course; Glad its back
Played as a family foursome. The course was in great shape for it being early May and the elements that Nebraska receives until then. Greens were nice. Fairway and all else was well kept. Had a top ten day so cannot complain about much or the crowds playing there.
Solid muni
We had a great time playing here! It was a challenging course that wasn’t overly difficult. My only complaints were the cart paths and the pace of play. The paths were awful but the pace of play was somewhat understandable given we played on a Saturday afternoon.

Nobody there?
Course was closed due to the storm. Golfnow didn't register that it was closed. I tried calling multiple times to get the booking fee reimbursed, but nobody answered.
Still no refund, played thous course before though and it was great. I'd still expect it to be great
Slow
Although a public course, there needs to be someone riding around in a cart encouraging a reasonable pace of play. Great course, but there needs to be some monitoring. There was a foursome in front of us that was playing two balls! The group in front of them was a hole or two ahead.
Love this course
Challenging without being impossible. Greens, tee boxes, and fairways in great shape.
Enjoyable test
Wonderful layout…great condition for a municipal course! Once they get the car paths fixed you can give six stars!
Staff...
The head pro and his staff are insanely rude in the oro shop. They must not understand how the coursecis funded by taxpayers.
Great Sunday golf
Perfection day for golf and met two gents that made play even better. Didn't score great but worth the 5 hours at the course.
Keep the prov1s in the bag
Played this course for the 1st time Two of our foursome dropped out and left my brother and i to play by ourselves. it's a really cool track with an unusual layout. The rolling fairways and blind landing areas make it tough to find your balls if you are not familiar with the course. After teaming up with another twosome on the back nine ( who had knowledge of the course ) we had better fortune locating our shots and scoring. Overall an enjoyable afternoon and will play this course again.
Hard greens
The course was great to play and the greens were difficult and challenging.
Great public course
Johnny Goodman is a great public course. With all of the rain this summer it is in great shape. The greens rolled true and are fairly challenging. The only complaints I have are the quality of the cart paths, they are in pretty bad shape.
