Lost Greens
Greens are my first requirement for a good round. These were lost and gone weeks ago. Layout was scenic and challenging. Pace of play was terrible. Our round was over 6 hours.
Rough shape.
Greens have massive dead spots, and where there actually is grass they haven’t been mowed in several days. There’s only 2 flat tee boxes on the entire course, otherwise you’ll struggle to find a decent spot to tee your ball.
2 positives: the fairways are in good condition and it looks like they’ve put in some work on the bunkers. Even after getting quite a bit of rain the day before we played, the bunkers looked taken care of.
It’s a fun course when it’s in decent condition but as it is right now it’s not worth spending your money here.
Great Course
I absolutely love Kingswood. The staff is amazing always friendly and helpful.
The course is not bad from the tips at 6243 yds. A perfect course for beginners with plenty room for errant shots.
The fairways are nice, They greens look rough as they seem to be dealing with a fungus. There are brown patches on the greens. They still roll fine just look rough.
Kingswood Course - Fun design
Very playable course design with a few challenging tee shots - overall very well maintained course the greens were in a great shape - no flood zones and no dry spots - just overall a very scenic playable course that is within the valley end of the little sugar MTB system - it’s cool seeing folks ride mountain bikes and gliding down rivers while you play - the winds are tamer on the front end of the course being tucked into the inside of the valley and the back 9 was more open and the winds played into the holes more. Would love to play again just wish there was a cart lady or halfway house with amenities.
Nice Course
Course was in excellent condition and staff at pro shop were helpful. Restaurant at course was good.
