Extremely noisy and rude want to be golfers on the course.
Plus the noise from motorcycles and cars very annoying and disruptive.
The course layout is nice with many tight greens. Short game lovers.
Pace of play
Pace of play was not great. There was a backup on every tee box. A lot of this has to do with the course layout. There are three par 5’s within four holes and grinds everything to a complete halt.
The condition of the course was good but the layout of many holes seemed arbitrary at best. With so many options in the area this one will go to the bottom of the list. It’s cool to be by PLX but not cool enough to want to play here again.

Front nine challenges
The toughest holes for me by far are 5 and 7 due to very elevated, undulating and fast greens. Your approach shot is blind and you’re lucky to two putt. The 10th hole par 4 is drivable for long hitters but it’s well protected in front with a bunker. So be happy with a par on 10. I shot an 81 from the whites which was a good round for me.

Just getting kinda pricey with $65 weekends
Great Round of Golf
Course was in great shape. They were very organized and kept people moving. Staff was awesome and helpful. Holiday weekend at 9am the round was 4 hours and 20 minutes.
We will go back again.

The course was in very nice condition for early spring golf.
Always a pleasure
Turkeyfoot has the best drainage around and the course is always in immaculate shape regardless of the time of year. I have one small minor complaint that every time I play here there are fivesomes out and they hold up play because they are either not caring or too stupid to let faster groups play through. I don’t even care they let fivesomes out but tell them that they have to let groups through them. But as I mentioned that is a minor complaint and I love this course, the staff & everything else
