Golfer Reviews
Fun with some challenges
Good fun course in great shape. Nice mix of a couple par 3s a 5 and some decent length 4s. Kicking things off with a driveable par 4 and then a few blind tee shots, it was a good test of skills. Busy but pace of play was good. Unfortunately the Top Golf has not been nice to the course, not allowing use of a few bays for driving range before a round. They even said we had to wait an hour with empty bays when we offered to pay. If the course can negotiate with Top Golf it would be a nice bonus.
Great value
The course is pretty short and the layout is nothing crazy. However, you won’t find many public courses in better shape. Greens rolled great.
Very nice course
Course looks like it was part of the country club. Great,9 hole public course. Fairways and greens were great shape. We followed a league, so the pace was a little slow, but we weren’t in a hurry and it was fine.
My go to practice course
Nearing 70 years old, I play this course from the senior tees. That does not make it a chip n putt course. You will use most of the clubs in your bag. The rough is medium high and can cause you grief. The greens roll true and somewhat fast and a 50 ft. putt can be had with the large greens. The fairways are what you would expect from a Firestone course. There is sand on a couple of holes and if you find it, a bogey is probable. Lots of steep elevation changes here, so I don't walk it anymore, but I used to. This round was a notable one for me because I got a hole in one on number two. Unfortunately I was by myself so it was just me and God that saw it.
Not bad for the first week of March
I like the course and that they let carts out almost all the time. What I don't like is the cost. It cost me $10 to book online because the phone goes to voicemail and no one calls back. Then it's $25 for 9 holes the first week of March?? Come on man!
