Solid Central Ohio
Surprising find. I very much enjoyed my round here. Conditions were above average, greens had alit of character and the back 9 had decent land movement. Courses’s two 9s were built by different architects.
Good value
Average conditions overall but greens were pretty quick. Course not in the greatest shape - some spots quite wet while majority of the rest of the course thirsting for more rain. Nice layout and pace of play. It’s a drive for me but enjoy coming here once a year on a hot deal. We hit the range before the round; ample room to socially distance and a generous supply of balls for just $4.
Best shape in years
I’ve played this course for the last ten years and it’s in the best shape it’s been in. From the tee boxes, fairways and especially the greens there are no complaints. Staff is always friendly and the pace of play is great. In my option for the price it’s the best course in the area. They just built a new pavilion that looks great and it really seems the local businesses have sponsored/supported this course.
Nice Course!
I've only played this course a few times because it is a long drive for me, but each time I play it I enjoy it a lot.
Nice lay-out and very nice greens.
Ashland Brookside Golf Course
After storm the previous night, course was in very playable condition and staff was busy throughout round cleaning up debris. Well maintained and even though it was busy the course played With good pace. Enjoyable time.
Pace to slow
It took me almost 4 hours to play 18 by myself. I’m a 2 handy cap. People there wouldn’t let u play threw. No rangers on course. Not first time this has happened. Ok course but don’t think I will be going back. Little to pricey too.
decent course
good hot deal, the greens were in very good shape tees were ok fairways were just cut grass a little thin and muddy, the rough hadn't been cut in awhile but with all the rain I will give them a pass there. Course is sort of plain not a ton of character but all in all for the money I would play there again
Fun course
Came here while traveling for work. Great course and nice value. Pace of play a little slow but not terrible for the amount of people there.
Good value
This is a good value for the money. Nice public park layout. Greens in nice condition.
Worth the Drive
Drove from Cleveland and I wasn't disappointed we had one issue and the Range took care of that Thanks I will return.
Very nice couse, needs a starter
Course well maintained, good value and great people, BUT needs to have better organization to control pace of play. Sending two two somes off behind a four some doesn't make sense let alone single's in the middle of the day.
Good course
They really have some good deals here you can take advantage of. It’s a city course so you kinda know what to expect. The pace of play is great and it’s very fun to play. Looks like they are upgrading their clubhouse, they also have a driving range.
Slow play and Ratty Fairways
Most fairways were in very poor condition. The bigger problem was that the course sold a tee time that followed the last 3-some in a large golf outing (scramble). Not only did we tee-off about 15 minutes late we were forced to wait on every shot. The course was not worth the hour drive time it took to get there.
Good Green Complexes
An inch and a half of rain the previous two days made the course squishy in most places and had carts running a true 90 degrees from paths. Some die back in the fairways, shows the moisture was needed. White flags were a little confusing at first, till you realize they are for the foot golf. Greens were the best part of the course, a nice size, enough undulation and speed to make them tricky. Back nine is a little tougher IMO, due to elevation change. Worth the 1 hour 15 minute drive.
Very good value
First time play for at least ten years. Although course was showing stress from heat it was still playable. Greens nice and much faster then I remembered. Staff very friendly and food was ok although a better hotdog would help. Although I Iive @50 minutes away I'll definitely play again.
Really nice
Really nice course. Has a country feel. Was in really good shape. Greens pitted true. Front kind of open with some nice water holes to challenge you. Back gets a little tighter with more trees. The staff was very friendly. Cant wait to go back.
