Master Bates “The Ambassador!”
We played a 2 hour front nine and Master Bates “The Ambassador!” said to pick it up cause we were we slow. Then followed us and starred at us like we were doing something wrong. Till one of us approached to give us space…. My mind now was off my game because of Master Bates“The Ambassador!”. We played a 4 hour round like a normal foursome would. Last time I play hear, looks members only get treated well here. Master Bates “The Ambassador!” is a jerk!!!
When one selects by GolfNow one is placed in a group which may not be helpful to the group. Some may be scratch golfers and then a weekend warrior trying one's best. I was the last category and soon realized I was keeping the others from their game.
Great layout
Golf course was in great shape. Only bad mark is drink cart did not come around until 11 hole and grill was not open when we got there. We teeed off at 9 am.
Green conditions
This is usually one of my fav spots to play but had not played since early Spring and was surprised to see the course and green conditions to be very poor. Dead spots on the green, lumps/ball marks made putting more difficult than it already is. I don’t know I just think if you’re going to charge $75 for a round the course should be well groomed especially the greens in middle of summer.

The last time I played Beaver Brook was a few years ago, and the course was in much worse condition than it is now. They have really upped their game in terms of course maintenance, staff friendliness, and pace of play. I would definitely go back again soon!
Hot Day to play.
The course was in great condition even though rain is spotty. The pace of play was great some backup at 13,14,15 then it took off again. 4.5 hr round.
Beautiful Challenging Course
A beautiful view on all the holes. Along with a challenging world class layout of a course with uphill, downhill holes , raised greens and tee boxes dogleg left and right. Greens in good condition and challenging not all flat making you think . Every hole different and a challenge. I just wish they had a practice range but they do have practice putting a grill room and a roaming refreshment cart.

Bunkers are in way better shape and the course is rolling!! Definitely make this a must play on your list
Pace of play
Groups ahead don’t keep pace of play knowing there’s people behind, waiting.
Course could use someone to “push” slower groups
