South/West at Glenview Golf Course
About
Golf Digest's Top 75 Public Courses included Glenview Golf Course once upon a time, and the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship was played there once, too. Even if the golf course's prestige has faded a bit - or simply been surpassed by golf courses that were designed more recently - the golf course still offers a test and still draws golfers.
If golfers choose to golf the South and West golf courses in tandem at the Glenview golf club, they'd be looking at a route that would take them 6,843 yards from the Black tees. Teeing off on the South Course, golfers would have to travel 401 yards from the Black tees and do it with a par of 4. Things get long on the South Course's third hole, a par 5 that measures 547 yards from the Black tees and is one of four holes that play to over 500 yards on this route.
The West Course's ninth hole is one of these, requiring golfers who go South Course to West Course at the Glenview Golf Course to close out on a par 5 that measures 541 yards from the Black tees.

Great Value, Quality Course
Went on a Friday morning, booked a 7:28 tee time which is great for a hot deal. The course is challenging, and there are some great scoring opportunities even for beginners. The layout provides for a swift pace of play. I would definitely recommend this course for players of all levels.
Yes wish choice
Great course top to bottom greens perfect nice layout I play better when excited about the course yours truly s butler
Fun course to play. If you arent the greatest play it can be forgiving and you wont loose a ton of balls. Was very wet but several clurses were closed for that reason on yhe same day.
Fall golf @ Glenview
Very appealing course with a nice layout on East, West and South. Big greens on a few holes which makes putting hard and fun if not close to pin on approach shots. Tee boxes were in good shape as well as fairways and greens. Challenging course that you will enjoy as a beginner or veteran.
Glenview remains a nice track!
As a City course, Glenview has had it’s share of challenges over the years. The City is apparently funding it properly again. The course was in excellent condition (although the greens on the South course had been recently aerated). Tee boxes were in great shape! Clearly there has been an investment in landscaping and course maintenance.
We had the course essentially to kurselves on a beautiful Saturday afternoon - what’s not to like?
Great Weekend Round
Great round. Loved the updated clubhouse. Course was in great shape.
Really fun course, pretty fair test for average golfer
First time playing this course, we did West/East and a really nice course. Pretty fair course, not crazy challenging but you have to keep it in the fairway on most holes. The biggest challenge we had was green speeds seemed to vary from hole to hole. It was hard to get a consistent speed on putts. We got around in 4.5 hours which is pretty normal for a weekend round, weren't waiting and consistently about a half hole behind the group in front of us.
Club house looks brand new, several practice greens and a driving range although it points right into the sun in the early morning.
A must play of playing in the Cincinnati area!
All three nines are in excellent condition. Each nine has its own personality, with the south probably the most memorable. Beautiful tree lined fairways and a variety of trees to challenge all levels of players. The club house is a remodeled dairy milking barn that was built in the 1850s. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I will play here every time I get to the Cincinnati area.
Challenging layout
Challenging old style layout with plenty of length.Best city course.Staff is kind and helpful.
Great layout - Conditions Need TLC
Glenview has a great course layout - especially the West/South combination. The greens have just been aerated and top dressed which is to be expected at times. The cart paths need a lot of repair and the bunkers need care. But overall it is a great course to play.
Beautiful course
What a beautiful course! Just about every hole could be the cover for a advertisement for the course. Many long holes, very few short, some rolling hills, great scenery and wildlife, challenging greens, pins always in a different spot!!
Nice layout
Nice layout. Some slow groups, but they let me play through. Practice green was much faster than the real greens. Worth the price of admission.
Much Improved !!
WOW! I had not played here in a while and did not have high hopes, especially at the price we paid. This course is much improved, especially the greens, they're super smooth with a very true roll (South 9 are still a bit slower than the West 9.) Fairways were also in great condition. The only thing we could complain about is that some tee boxes had some patches with less grass and others were very hard making it hard to get your tee in the ground. We would very much play this track again!
