Golf Digest's Top 75 Public Courses included Glenview Golf Course once upon a time, and the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship was played there once, too. Even if the golf course's prestige has faded a bit - or simply been surpassed by golf courses that were designed more recently - the golf course still offers a test and still draws golfers.
If golfers choose to golf the South and West golf courses in tandem at the Glenview golf club, they'd be looking at a route that would take them 6,843 yards from the Black tees. Teeing off on the South Course, golfers would have to travel 401 yards from the Black tees and do it with a par of 4. Things get long on the South Course's third hole, a par 5 that measures 547 yards from the Black tees and is one of four holes that play to over 500 yards on this route.
The West Course's ninth hole is one of these, requiring golfers who go South Course to West Course at the Glenview Golf Course to close out on a par 5 that measures 541 yards from the Black tees.

COULD'VE BEEN A LOT BETTER!
It started on the putting green when a visitor decided he was going to chip from one side of the green to the other 20+ balls. Then he complains when 4 other golfers want to practice putting on the same green before they walk over to tee off.????
I myself was flabbergasted that this golfer thought he owned the green and everyone else needed to move out of his way???
I was by myself-mistake-I asked 4 groups if I could pair up with them and they all said NO!
They have their own group. I remembered this same thing happened last year. I thought it was me but evidently this is how these golfers are......they own the course and nobody is going to tell them otherwise.
Lastly, I was in a hurry at the end because the 2 some and 3 some in front of me decided they would play slow-4:23. I left my sunglasses in the cart. and rangefinder on the cart. 5 minutes after I left I called the course and told the fellow who answered the phone the number of the cart I was playing in. He said he would run out and hold them for me.
I returned today only to find that my sunglasses were broken and my rangefinder never was found!
I guess after my day it was par for the course!
The fellow and I that played together had a great time and I enjoyed the course. BUT BUT, the course is run poorly and the people who play here grew up with the wrong ambitions!

Early spring conditions. Greens good. Kind of wet. A little slow. Nice day everyone out
A hidden gem in Cincy
While visiting the area i always want to get in a round of golf. The course is close and i wanted ti play it but never made it happen. This time i did! It was a pleasant surprize the condition and layout of the course. I will make it a point to return on a future visit.
Beautiful
Nice green plush fairways and greens. Very few barren areas. Was first group to tee off so pace was great.
Glenview West to South
Course was in great shape, especially for the drought conditions we are experiencing. Tees, fairways and greens were in great condition. Rough was burnt out, but no rain in 4 weeks.
Good to play Glenview again!
We really enjoyed playing here yesterday. The weather was perfect and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. We played East and South. The course looked good and the greens were in pretty good shape.
