Golfers who choose to golf the White and Blue tracks in tandem at the Neumann Golf Course are looking at the golf course's longest possible combination, a par-72 that measures 6,200 yards from the Black tees.
The first hole on the White track is a par 4 that measures 268 yards from the Black tees. On the Blue track, the Neumann Golf Course's longest, they'd find golf course's longest hole, the monstrous par-5 eighth, which plays to 612 yards from the Black tees. Closing out the round might seem like a breeze after that, as the Blue Course's ninth hole is 319 yards from the Black tees, not so much more than half the distance of the previous hole - but it's deceptively short, as the hole offers an option of playing either par-4 or par-5.

When we got to the course I couldn’t believe they had tee times every 8 minutes. The first tee was backed up and we teed off ten minutes late… HOWEVER!! They know what they are doing. We finished our round in exactly 4 hours from the time we teed off. We only waited on the group in front of us three times through out the round. I was surprised and impressed. Neumann staff knows what they are doing.

Nice course
Course was in good condition. Greens were fast. Fairways were well maintained.

Very accommodating
I accidentally booked tee times back to back on different courses and my group wanted to play the same course and they worked it out with no issues. The course isn’t too difficult and it’s well kept. I would recommend to any recreational weekend golfer it was a great time.

Greens way too hard and fast
Neumann has always been known for its fast greens, but this was another level. Towering approach shots weren't even making pitch marks, and the ball was always rolling off. Above the hole was an automatic 3 putt. Good shots were not rewarded.

Decent Course
Decent course, long enough for me and my fellow high handicap friends to not drive the green, but not too long to where we can’t hit any greens. The physical cup did come out of a few holes when I pulled the flags out which was weird. Course was well kept.

Downhill, and not just the putts.
This course used to be the place that every westsider of Cincinnati wanted to play. Three 9 hole courses, so if you were playing 18, you would even get to be surprised on which course you’d be on.
In years past, Neumann was always the go-to golf course of all the CRC courses. So much so, the other courses of the CRC relied upon Neumann to keep their course up and running. What the CRC is wasting money on now, I’m not sure, but it definitely isn’t going towards their golf courses.
Neumann hacked down trees, bushes, fences, shrubs, and other foliage, but chose to ignore their greens, tee boxes, fairways, and roughs, as well as cart paths, benches, water coolers, and basically any amenity a golf course may offer.
The rough featured patches of bare mud, and marshy low spots you could sink a Volvo in. Fairways were so long, it seemed like the ball was sitting on shag carpeting. The greens were pocked and long, and tee boxes were bare and overgrown at the same time. The cart paths may as well be blacktop millings, because there isn’t much path left these days.
Now I understand it’s February, and some of those things courses have to deal with early on, but it won’t change come summertime. Even my wife, who has been on two golf courses in her life, commented about how poorly looking the course was.
And to top it off, it cost me $26 (booked on GolfNow) just to play 9 holes, and it would have been close to $35 to play a full 18. I played Neumann last summer too, and they charged me over $50 to play at 2pm during the week. Awful.
I’m hoping Neumann can right the ship, get more money from the CRC, maybe even get new, more experienced greenskeepers, and turn the course around, but seeing the recent trajectory, I wouldn’t be surprised in Neumann turned into a subdivision before 2030.

Early Fall 2022, 4some
Round was good. Seemingly aerated greens within the last week or so. It was playing very hard. Lots of bounce and roll. Greens had a layer of grit on them which slowed the holes down tremendously, relative to how they play under peak season conditions, but still played at a fair rate of speed.
Overall Red course was in great shape.

Course review
Apart from being difficult to spell, the course it very pretty. I enjoyed the paces of play and additionally the staff is very friendly. Beware of #7 on the red course. The green will eat your lunch.

Course is nice
The day we played it was extremely hot and they had no water at any of the tee boxes which was not good at all.
There must have been some reasonable explanation why they didn’t have water situated for us to fill our water bottle or someone coming around to see if we wanted water. I was very surprised

CRC Golf Courses, with many other courses in the tri-state area, have removed water refilling stations to protect our guests from possible water contamination that could lead to serious sickness. We encourage our golfers to bring their own refillable water bottle or purchase one from our F&B counters.
Our courses have water bottle filling stations and drinking fountains in the clubhouse, and our F&B team will happily refill your water bottle at no charge! We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
