Pebble Creek Golf Course
About
Pebble Creek Golf Course offers beauty and tests on an 18-hole championship golf course, as well as a full-service pro shop and sports bar and restaurant, making it as much of a draw for golfers as it is for diners. The ridges and valleys of the Colerain Township provide the home for the golf course's bentgrass tees, fairways and greens protected by white-sand bunkers. There are seven water hazards to test golfers who like to balance risk with reward, and course management is the name of the game for golfers with low handicaps: This golf course requires every trick - as well as every club - in the bag.
The 16th hole on the Pebble Creek Golf Course, for one example, is a 135-175-yard par-3 that will test golfers' abilities with its island green; still, this is a golf course that will accommodate all levels of golfers. Forward tees and giving drop areas from the island green and two canyon holes offer a bit of reprieve for golfers with high handicaps.
After your round of golf, check out Prechtels Pub at the Pebble Creek Golf Course for nightly fireside dining and numerous television sets to keep you up on whatever other sports you like.

Rain rain go away
Really enjoyed the course after sticking through the rain on the first four holes. Wanna go back when it's dry to put a better round together but had very interesting mix of holes and always love an island hole!
course in excellent condition
Not busy, fast play, greens in great shape, not much rough. finding errant balls easy enough.
Had a great day, par on first 7 holes.
Challenging but excellent course
Course was very challenging but in excellent condition. An extra sleeve of balls is needed for the first time player. Enjoyed the course and the friendly atmosphere.
Nice Course
This course is a must play. It has a lot of character and enjoyed the surroundings as they are very pleasing to the eye. The only improvement I would like to see is that the pace of play was slow at times as we had to wait on the tee several times.
Why did I wait so long to play this course again?
I haven't played this course for 5 years which is right after I began golfing. I recall it being too challenging for a novice golfer and the course was always very busy. I thoroughly enjoyed my recent round. The course was in wonderful condition. The pace was very good. I am planning on playing this course again next week.
I'll be back!
Pebble Creek is very fun and a great value. The course is extremely scenic with dramatic elevation changes. Good, smart shot-making is a must. Bring a GPS to get precise yardage for accurate club selection. If I lived closer to the course I would play there every week!
Great, Tough Course
Course was in great shape and we had a blast. Great elevation changes and great views!
Greens are slower than normal
Rough was not cut very well. Speed of play was far better than normal. Need a set of senior tees
Beautiful course if you are not in a hurry
This is a beautiful course with excellent maintained greens. It is a course that you can get into trouble on, if you do not stay in the fairways. There are a couple of par 3's that will absolutely fool you, and can be quite challenging. My only complaint with this course is that when we played on a Sunday afternoon, (Father's Day) we were backed up for a least 10 minutes on each hole due to poor Ranger management as they let a group of 5 go out on a busy Sunday afternoon followed by a foursome who decided to play bumper carts with the golf carts. This makes for very slow pace of play, loss of momentum, and frustration. The beverage cart on an 85 degree day would have also come in handy, as we did not see that on the back nine at all. Our pace of play for the day: 5 1/2 hours.
Pace of play was too slow
Pebble Creek is a good golf course, but they MUST do something regarding the pace of play. Over 5 1/2 hours for 18 holes is a joke!!
Very good course
We played on a very nice Friday afternoon and enjoyed the course very much.
Perfect setting and a good challenge
The course was in great shape and plays very challenging. The majority of the holes play favor for right-handers, but the tight fairways and dense rough makes it a challenge for everyone. Looking forward to a second change at this one.
Nice course.
This course is usually fun to play. We were over 5 hours into the round with 3 holes to play when we decided we had had enough and left. There was an outing that started 15 minutes before us and we waited at every hole after number 1. The group was doing a scramble and I have no idea what the hold up was. I talked to different rangers and they said they would check into it, but the pace of play seemed to slow more on every hole.
excrutiating round
Course was in decent shape though I absolutely hated the layout of this course. I would describe it as a putt putt golf course on steroids, very gimmicky. I knew when we pulled up and there were 10+ carts waiting on the first tee we were in for a long day and I was right. We were at 5.5 hrs on the 17th hole with two groups waiting at the tee when we decided to quit and call it a day. I was visiting my brother for memorial day weekend so we wanted to try a new course together, I'm sorry I chose this one.
Fun & Unique Course
I was very surprised to find this unique course. This is not a course to pull out your driver and bomb away. Target golf at its finest. I enjoyed the hilly terrain and views. The course was in great shape and the greens were fast.
Best public greens in the city
Pebble creek is one of the best public courses I play in the city. The greens are fast and roll true. It's a fairly short course so long hitters should definitely hit from the tips. Even though it's short most holes require strategic ball placement off the tee. The only negative thing I noticed this last time out was that some of the tee boxes were in rough shape. Not a big deal but something for them to work on the future. If you haven't played pebble creek you should definitely give it a try. The greens will keep you coming back!
Not bad
It's a cool course. Lots of elevation change. Greens are in good shape burnt no means immaculate. Rest of the course in similar condition with the bunkers being a huge exception. Never raked and tend to often times have standing water. Lots of old people play here and it definitely slows down the pace of play. I'll only play here if it's less than $30. Great outing course, good for scoring from the white tees.
Value for the $
Not usually a course I play because I normally enjoy walking. Can't do that at Pebble Creek but the value was too good to miss.
