Regulation at Reeves Golf Course

A foursome at the turn had a full hole lead in front of us, since the group in front of us only played 9,, we caught up on the second hole we figured they would offer us to play thru but never once, I finally asked on the 15th hole after waiting at least 7-10 minutes every hole.

"We had a roast in the oven " so instead of burning that and our minds we went around them skipping a hole.

Just saying it would be very nice for s ranger to check course manangent every once in awhile.

PS we will be back and play Reeves quite often but the biggest complaint is pace of play.

Not a bad course. Very flat. Fairways are a bit burned out in spots.

I specifically asked about the Pace upon arrival and the starter assured me it was good. He started us on the back 9 behind 5 foursomes that played so slowly that we were frequently sitting at a tee box waiting for up to 3 foursomes to tee off ahead of us. We did not have a single hole where we were able to tee off upon arrival. When I called it to the staff's attention at the turn, they shrugged it off (even though they could see 3 foursomes queued up on the 1st tee box).

Nice confidence instilling course that is very forgiving on off line shots. Open every hole and minimal elevation changes, a good course to work on things or just get out with your buddies. The views of the planes landing is nice also, friendly staff that’s willing to help.

I’ve played this course many times. It’s a pretty easy course without any water hazards and not a lot of spots that will get you in too much trouble. If you’re not feeling so great about your game, play here and you’ll feel a lot more confident.

Was very busy. We had a 1pm tee time. Waited most of the day for the groups in front of us on each shot. Lots of beginners playing, which is fine of course, but if you prefer an average or fast pace of play, I’d suggest book somewhere else.

There’s a nest of ground hornets on #4 and made accessing the green difficult. Another nest on the back as well. Be cautious if you are allergic to them, they are everywhere!!!

It’s a wide open course and very easy imo.

I’d go back if the hornets were taken care of and book the earliest tee time available so we could play faster.

For $25 bucks on GolfNow you can’t beat it for 18 with a cart though.

Very welcoming and helpful. Super efficient and made the whole experience awesome definitely going to be a usual course for us.

first time playing here. Check in was a snap, inside staff were friendly as was the starter. Course is flat and wide open so anyone should feel comfortable playing here. cart paths and fairways were a bit bumpy so be careful when driving the carts, course is walkable. tee boxes were ok, greens were perfect. Refreshments stand is ok, staff was very friendly but when people were ordering beers it took forever because they all came out foamy, need to adjust the flow.

For a Friday mid morning, this course was absolutely packed out, and the tight layout of the course has any mush it sitting in someone else’s fairway. Food was priced like it was a private country club even though they get tax dollars as well as the 300 green fees they must get a day.

I’m just wondering where in Cincinnati (CRC course) all that money goes because it doesn’t go to the upkeep of the course.

Pretty sure after COVID ten more courses could be built in Cincinnati and it still wouldn’t be enough.

The course is in really good shape and the prices I think are fair co pared to other courses in the area. It’s a simple layout and a great tune up course to gain confidence or just play your first round for the year. My only complaint, and I know there isn’t much that can be done, is there are a lot of ruts you need to be carful to avoid in the rough. Other than that, really good place.
