Great time
As a beginner this is a very nice course, very nice staff an pretty decent fairways an greens
great course
enjoy playing it we be back.
This course is always wet.
This course is always wet and therefore they do not cut the roughs and fairways as they should. You can lose a ball in the rough just off the fairway.
The greens are slow and bumpy.
This is a course for beginners, but polished golfers will fell they have wasted their money and the time they invested to play.
very quiet
great time with my son. a little cool so there was no one else on the course. great conditions thou. fairways were trim and pretty much leaf free.
Little Met
The course is own by the metropark system, so lots of trees. Easy course, not long, no sand. Greens are slooow. Very enjoyable course.
a great course for the begining golfer
All Metro courses that I have played in the Cleveland area have been in excellent condition. I would like to see more offers on this site for discounted play. I would play the courses all lot more.
Terrible pace
unless you get out at the right time it is almost always backed up. Lots of intermediate and novice golfers. Many don't know or understand golf etiquette. I was stuck behind a twosome, that was behind a single, that was behind another twosome but no one paired up to speed the play.
Good Condition
The fairways and greens were in great shape. The personell were very frendly.
Good Grass
Stars say it all in the ratings, just look at what the stars tell you. It is pretty basic and to the point.
Great value
Course in great shape. Wide open fairways quickens pace of play.
Good course for beginners
No professionalism what so ever. Come and go as you please. Warning there are true beginners. You can expect to wait upon your actual tee time. The rough is high you can say goodbye to a few balls. Metroparks needs to step their game up.
nice place
nice course for the money you meet nice people
to play with
Don't believe your Tee-Time
We had set up our 4-some tee time a week ahead on GolfNow and even prepaid. We show up 20 min early ready to go to find no riding carts are available. By the time we got carts, the starter puts us 4 groups back, meaning we started 45 min late. When asked, the course booked a large group/outing but never updated their online tee times, leading to a large backlog. The large group barley kept pace, which I expected better as the Metroparks usually pride themselves on keeping all groups to a specific pace (15 min/hole avg). Our pace was 20 min/hole. I will be heading to Big Met or Sleepy Hollow next time.
Quick nine
Booked for 4:07 and I misjudged my trip time so I was 1/2 hour early, and I got out right away at 3:45.
Finished at 5:15
Very good
Will never return
Just a sad metro parks course, tee time was at 6:30 PM, carts had to be back by 8:00 PM... I prefer to play where I can ride a cart at least until sunset that is poor course management, and there was leagues teeing off till 6:25 PM... Terrible deal if you can even call that a deal, I may stop using golfnow after this experience
Nice setting
Except for losing two balls in open pipes on the fairway the round was enjoyable. It is located in the Metro Parks and well laid out. I am concerned that someone could catch their foot in the open pipe holes and injure themselves.
Great little beginner course with friendly staff
Perfect for beginners and an awesome staff. Would recommend for all ages, men and women.
Fun course
I am a novice golfer so this course was perfect. The people in front of us could have played a little more quickly, but it appeared two of the players were beginners. I had a lot fun and would definitely go back.
