Big Met Golf Course

About
Big Met Golf Course boasts the title of being Ohio's most-played golf course. Since opening in 1926, it has hosted an impressive 6,000,000 rounds of golf. The course is nestled into the Rock River Valley along gently rolling hills. One of the course's defining features is the dike that helps to hold back the Rocky River, which can be viewed from several holes. Although the golf course as it exists now differs dramatically from the original layout thanks to numerous improvements over the years, including lengthening and remodeling the seventh and eighth holes, it has retained the same playability that has earned its reputation. Big Met Golf Course is not overly challenging but there are a few strategically placed bunkers and tricky rough areas, as well as a moderate amount of length.

Good Course, get back to basics
How is it that you have an 18 hole golf course.... and no water available? Don't tell me it's covid, that sits over.
Those jugs are somewhere, get them back out on the course.
Big Met
We played a round at Big Met recently and the course was in excellent condition. The tees were being aerified, but that’s expected this time of year. Overall, it was a great value for the price.
Nice course but very slow
First time playing Big Met and really enjoyed everything about it except pace of play. It took 2:30 minutes to play the front and 2:15 for the back. Not sure we will go back
Great for slow play.
It's a cheapskates course. It attracts high-schoolers and guys that can't afford carts. We played behind 4 walking high-schoolers and waited on every shot.
Great course for the money.
Played a four hour round and the course was in amazing shape. Greens are running really fast. Fastest greens I’ve played all year. Fair layout. Staff is great! Will definitely play again soon!
Big Met
This was our first time visiting Big Met and we will be back !! The course was beautiful and in great shape including the greens. We truly enjoyed our day even while playing “ average” golf. lol
Great course when it's not super busy.
I've heard about how crazy busy this course usually is. I don't really think it's the courses fault and they seem to do everything to keep the pace moving. Our foursome must've run across rangers 4-5 times during our 18 holes, so they manage what they can. Tee boxes, fairways and short grass was well maintained. The greens were the only complaint, pretty bumpy but I guess it might be because it is the start of the season.
