Springvale Golf Club

I like this course. It is fairly simple, not including the par5 11, that's a tough one. I would have given this course 5 stars, however the starter and his little helper were not very friendly.

We had a group of 4 senior that would not let us through, stating they were on a league... on Sunday? The starter popped up once an noticed the group in front of us was 2 holes behind, but did not say anything. Work on that for better pace of play.

I played early in the morning having the staff take care of all my needs making it easy and simple to get out on the course. The course is absolutely beautiful makes you feel in tune with nature with a City all around you.

Course in great condition ...tee to green. The big hitters I got paired with made the layout pretty easy, but this Old Guy has plenty of challenges with weak swing-speed & distance. The layout is pretty forward, so just hit it long & straight. Greens are fair, trickiest being 2tier #11. DbleBogie #16 ruined my score, so Ill be back to redeem myself & break 80 .....Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals Special.

I get that it’s early in the year. But this course was a disaster. Standing water everywhere. The rough was too high and old grass clippings hid your balls. They have leagues on Sundays but still allow walk ons? There was a 1hr cold weather delay so they gave us the option. 1. Wait 90 minutes until the league bros play. 2. Play the back 9 twice. It just wasn’t a great experience.

I usually like this course, but the pace of play this time was horrible and the starter could care less! 4 some and 5 some in front of us and not a care in the world! Who lets out a 5some really! Almost 5 hrs for 3 of us on a Tuesday morning!

Always a great bang for your buck course. Challenging, well-maintained. Courteous staff. Love the Vale!

Course was in great shape but the back 9 was extremely backed up. Waited at least 15 min on each hole.

My husband and I play Springvale fairly often, enough to consider it our “home course”. As a female in my late 20s, I give a lot of grace and understand that golf is mostly men, but our most recent tee time was by far our worst experience here.

It started with me heading into the clubhouse and being stopped by the starter. He asked why I was there & if I was planning on golfing. Based on my clothes and the fact that we play there often, this threw me off. I told him that yes, I was there to golf with my husband, and he questioned whether I had a tee time or not. We had booked online a few hours earlier & he let me know we were not on his books & emphasized to make sure I paid for both golfers. I did and took very little issue with this.

When I came back out of the clubhouse, we headed to the tees for my husband to start his round. A group of 2 men came out of the clubhouse and the starter told them to play the back. “You don’t want to be stuck behind those two, do you?”, in reference to me. They went on for a few minutes, laughing about how horrible it would be to get stuck behind a woman.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at Springvale. It is enough for me to never come back & to tell other female golfers to avoid this course at all costs.

Misogyny and ugliness like this is not okay, whether you are on the course or not. I will not be back.

Played here on a whim. Rented clubs and they might have been the worst clubs I’ve had as a rental set. Caked in mud. Course itself was fine.

Made tee time thru the app. GOLF NOW charged me more than if i wouldve just called and made my own tee time!!! NOT HAPPY it was the 1st time I used the app

Not sure what has happened in the last 3 weeks I played 3 weeks ago and course was in pretty decent condition, played today ans almost every fairway was beyond dead.

$29 for 9 holes was too high. Course is experiencing turf fungus or something so in those cases they should offer discount
