Mallard Creek Golf Club - The Woods Course

Greens were not in great shape, often having brown and dried up spots. The tee boxes were pretty much dirt. Fairways were fine. We had a 2:26 tee time and a walk up couple went to the starter just in front of us and he put them out in front of us after putting them into our 2:26 tee time. We expected a slower round at that time but The course was so slow it took 5-1/2 hours to play 18 holes. It was not a fun day in the course. The word is that they’ve sold part of the course to developers so it seems that they’re not taking care of at least that part of the course. Usually enjoyed mallard creek.

Mallard Creek was in good condition considering there was 2 inches of rain the day before which means every hole had a pond on the cart path. It was 46 degrees and 40 mph winds but I was playing golf. The pace was slow but carts were on cart path only and finding your ball was difficult, I lost at least 6 balls during my 18 holes. It was nice to play 18 holes of golf considering the conditions. Mallard Creek is a top ten course in this area.

Palyed the "Woods" Course which I prefer to the Lakes Course.

The conditions of the tee boxes and greens were about as bad as you can get. There is constantly either planes flying over, trains blowing horns, dogs barking, and of course the unethical amateur golfer, screaming every five seconds. The starters are power tripped angry old men, beyond belief, and extremely rude to guests. Will never come back here again.

Nice course but make sure they don't over charge you. Booked my tee time through the app. Said $54.00 would be the cost for 18 with a cart. They tried to charge $70 when I arrived.

Really nice layout but the course and greens were in need of some TLC. Many greens had some rough patches or were burnt out. Lots of ball marks on all greens as players are not repairing their ball marks. Challenging layout with lots of potential.

The starter was on point! It looked crowded but somehow he managed everthing exceptionally..I wasn't right on anybody and nobody was all over me from being. Nice and smooth.. thanks! I'll be back more often..I should've got his name

Course conditions are getting better, greens are really slow for this time of year. It's a playable course but not for max price. I would only play if you got a good deal on Golfnow.
