Course is in terrible Shape
The course is just in bad shape. Tee boxes are pitted and a mess, greens have chunks taken out of them and are bare in spots. Fairways were unmowed. It’s green because it’s spring, but the course is in really bad shape - stay away.
Good midweek course
Golfed by myself and there was no one in front of me. Got through my 18 in a little under 3hrs. Lots of trees and some tight fairway’s. Fairway conditions were acceptable and the condition of the greens were not very good. Friendly staff and great value when using the golf ow pricing option. Would golf this course again.
Course has great layout and nice scenery. The landscaping on the other hand was atrocious . The greens were absolutely wrecked. Very little difference between the fairways and the rough. Clean the course up a bit and it’s a a beaut!
Poor condition
The pace of play was good, but the Teeboxes were in terrible condition. Every green has massive bare spots, making it impossible to putt most of the time. Additionally, many tree branches have been cut down and obviously there for a while because all the leafs were dead, but were just laying in piles all over the place.
DONT DO IT
The greens where unplayable.
Tee boxes nothing but dirt. They just TAKE TAKE TAKE TAKE and put nothing into this course. Pay $10 more and play some where else
Woods course
Greens were not in great shape, often having brown and dried up spots. The tee boxes were pretty much dirt. Fairways were fine. We had a 2:26 tee time and a walk up couple went to the starter just in front of us and he put them out in front of us after putting them into our 2:26 tee time. We expected a slower round at that time but The course was so slow it took 5-1/2 hours to play 18 holes. It was not a fun day in the course. The word is that they’ve sold part of the course to developers so it seems that they’re not taking care of at least that part of the course. Usually enjoyed mallard creek.
Great Value during Poor Weather Conditions
Mallard Creek was in good condition considering there was 2 inches of rain the day before which means every hole had a pond on the cart path. It was 46 degrees and 40 mph winds but I was playing golf. The pace was slow but carts were on cart path only and finding your ball was difficult, I lost at least 6 balls during my 18 holes. It was nice to play 18 holes of golf considering the conditions. Mallard Creek is a top ten course in this area.
