Worth every penny
This is one of the best courses on the westside. The staff is nothing but helpful. Pace of play can slow down on the weekend but overall it is very fun and challenging

This place is amazing. Staff was super friendly and the course was phenomenal!
Course conditions
Everything about the course is fantastic. The back 9 is having some work done on it because of a flood they had about 3 weeks ago.. 14 is now a par 3 and they have a temporary green that is not the best . The cart paths on 14 , 15 , and by the tee box on 16 are all mud so be careful . None of this is the courses fault just letting the people know that are about to play it for conditions wise. The guy in the pro shop wasn’t very nice and was like talking to a wall .
slow pace of play
I booked as a single on line w/ another 3-some. They showed up as a foursome and put us out as a fivesome. It was not a great experience, and added to the slow play, but the group in front of us wasn't moving fast either. It took almost 3 hours to play nine holes and I quit after 9, even though I paid for 18
Challenging course
Great layout, have to look at all angles when putting or you will miss them. Course was in good condition. Only a few areas where Mother Nature ruined 14 and 15 experience I would recommend playing.
Expensive and hazardous
Course has lots of damage due to rain and wind. Hazardous cart paths. Expensive for this course.
Pleasant Surprise
I heard good things about this course so decided to try it out. Was pleasantly surprised by how challenging and fun the holes were. Definitely need to plot your shot almost on almost every hole. Layout was interesting, the front nine is basically an inner circle around a protected nature preserve and back nine circles around Black River. Nice scenic holes. Challenging Par 3s. If they invest in some nice cart paths (currently uneven gravel), this would be a 4-star course. EXCELLENT food in the bar/ restaurant. Never encountered a nicer, informative starter!
A challenge
Great staff and crew . Took the lady out for nine and dine…weather was great back nine was under water so played front. Couldn’t complain about anything.
Enjoyable
Not a course for high handicappers. Challenging course when playing from the blues . Greens rolled true and fairways compared to carpeting. You can tell they’re spending a lot of quality time improving this course.
Enough rain
Only played front nine, back was under water. The course played well considering the weather and the crew seemed to have everything in control.
Outstanding facility, friendly staff and great track. Back nine had some flooded areas due to heavy rains and rising river but can’t do much about Mother Nature. Can’t wait to get back there.
