About
Although Homestead Springs Golf Course is just a few minutes southeast of Columbus, the surrounding countryside provides an idyllic atmosphere. It has a convenient location that is easily accessible from Central Ohio. The course is mostly flat, which makes it easy to walk, but there is some strategic mounding that can cause tricky uneven lies. Overall though, the golf course is not meant to pose an impossible challenge. It has an approachable, player-friendly layout that was designed for all skill levels to enjoy, but there are still a variety of challenges that will keep you on your feet. The course boasts excellent green conditions with putting surfaces that roll fast and true. The greens vary in size from small to medium. Water hazards come into play as well as a few strategically placed bunkers.

Nice day at Homestead!!!
Had a great day at Homestead despite the worst I have played in a while. With my Brother, step Bro n law and good friend we had a great day despite a brief rain storm and my play not up to my limited expectations, no fault of the course; which is in excellent shape. The staff is friendly as well. The course also has the traps in playable shape. The greens are wonderfully fast. All in all it was a memorable day at Homestead....
Wonderful curse
Only complaint I would have is a few of the fairways have some mushrooms coming up but I have no doubt they will tackle that problem before it gets worse. The course is in great shape I have played split rock and foxfire this year and this course beats both of them and it's not close.

Fast greens
2nd time playing this course...played better the first time...but the course is in good shape...a lot of fun... greens are very fast so don’t putt too aggressively.
Outstanding Course and Conditions
I am very pleased with this course. It is in outstanding shape. Stay on the fairway and you will be rewarded, drift off into the rough it swallows your ball up and will fight you to get it on the fairway. I will be back again.
Fantastic course conditions and value
First time playing this course. After torrential rains yesterday, this course was in fantastic condition. The tee boxes were perfectly green and the greens, in spite of tons of rain, are lightning fast and in great condition. I am from out of town and I would play this course again as it is much better than most a play out east. The value for the money was fantastic and the gentleman in the pro shop was super nice. A+ everything.
Golf has been improved
I played this course back in the year 2000 and it was in what I considered to be average condition. However I was really surprise at how much it has improved over the past 19 years. The owners have put money into the course as the tees, greens, and fairways had all been improved. I really enjoyed the course and plan to play it again this season.
