Bang for the Buck
Conditions are consistently solid for a course that can get a ton of play. Layout is not exactly challenging but it’s a PERFECT example of what a municipal golf course should play like. The other privately operated public courses in the area should take note of the job Orist has done.
Great Day at Pitman Golf Course
Considering the current state of things with covid-19, the experience was excellent. Couldn't have been easier. A quick call upon arrival got our 4some squared away. We played at a decent pace (4 hours) and the course was not crowded with spread out tee times. Course was in excellent shape and the greens were as well. Would recommend.

Pitman golf course
Had a great day of golf. Fairways were in good shape and greens were great. Social distancing was addressed properly. Overall a great day. So good, I’m going back tomorrow for another round.

Best Deal in the Area
First of all, the course is always in great shape. Brand new carts with GPS starting last season were a nice upgrade. Best of all, the first tee box always has a starter so pace of play is well regulated from the jump. Busier on the weekends, like all of the south jersey courses, but I've never seen it backed up during the week. Not the most difficult course but a few challenging holes make it very interesting. Never disappointed when we play here!!

Course is in great shape. They told us no rakes and leave the pin in. In our current state, completely understandable. Great deal and will return again later this season

Value for money
This course is forgiving and not super long. The conditions all winter have been amazing. One upside of global warming I guess. The value for money is awesome. Played on a Sunday afternoon and the pace of play was surprisingly good. Started late because of frost and wasn’t informed of a delay until I showed up to check in at pro shop. The lady working at the pro shop left a lot to be desired in terms of customer service. She was not at the desk the other two times I’ve played there and she is the only downside I’ve found for this course.

January golf !!
The course was in pretty decent shape for January 15th - I’ve played a few others since the new year and pitman is above the others in conditions - looking forward to the spring/summer when it’s in great shape !

Nice course
A short course but has challenging holes. Small greens that can make for good shot making.
