Wedgwood Country Club

It's been awhile sine we played Wedgwood so we gave them another chance and boy were we disappointed. The only positives were the friendly starter and the nice lady in Divot's. Course is dirt and rocks. Grounds crew could care less about the golfers or the course.

Course was air rated fairways with no notice. The grass is not cut. You have to step on top of your ball to find it if you don’t hit the fairway.

Tee boxes and fairways terrible condition. I almost asked for my money back.

If you like cart path only, this course is for you. At least 9 of the 18 is cart path only. The golf carts are extremely old, must have been made when golf bags were very thin. They don't fit two bags without squeezing them in. The cart i had, had a broken steering wheel. I can understand the recently aeration holes on the greens but $82 that i paid for early morning is ridiculous!!!!! Dynamic pricing that courses do now are terrible. Tee boxes are weed infested. Sand traps are rocks and stone traps.....how is it there is no sand??? Overall....this place is not worth it. They do not take care of the course.

Half of course was closed for AERATION OF GREENS, NO RANGER TO KEEP THINGS STRIGHT, was quite a MESS, No notice about this VERY UNHAPPY.

First time playing here. When we checked in we were informed that they were aerating the front none and we had to play the back twice. This was NOT on the website. So after we checked in, we headed to the back nine - no starter, so those who waiting waiting to tee off for the first time and those doing it twice had to figure out who went when. Not really a happy occasion. We finally went off and the fairways looked like a sea of crabgrass. No real difference between the fairway and the rough. The greens were a sea of ball marks and goose droppings, so much poop we couldn't putt on 5 of the nine holes. THERE ARE GEESE EVERWHERE!!!! It was hard to walk without stepping on poop. It's a real shame because the layout of the course seemed really nice, but it was impossible to enjoy anything about this. Someone should sink some money into a lawn mower, a geese chasing service, and some nicer people and this course might be playable. We left after nine. Won't be back and I would suggest playing somewhere else.

Fairways un kept with clumps of crabgrass. No sand in traps. Tee boxed barren I would not go

We booked Wedgewood having never played there. When we arrived, we were informed the course was being aerated and we would have to play the back 9 twice - this was NOT on their website. We asked for the senior rate, and it took about 5 minutes for the gentleman who checked us in to figure that out. We pulled up to hole 10, and there was about 3 groups waiting to tee off - it looked like 2 were playing it for the second time. No ranger, nobody to figure out who was next, etc. We must have waited 20 minutes past our tee time. Once we got started, the fairways were awful - nothing buy crabgrass and goose droppings. And I mean it was difficult to walk without stepping in the fecal matter. The pace was slow, but it moved. The greens were full of unfixed ball marks, and full of more goose crap. We wound up not putting on 4 of the 9 holes because of the goose crap. Once we got through 9, we looked at the 10th again, and there were no less than 6 groups waiting. If you know you're aerating the greens, why do you still schedule a newgroup every ten minutes when you know that would absolutely back things up. We wound up leaving instead of waiting. This experience, like the course, was crappy. NOT coming back.
