Wedgewood Country Club in Turnersville is one of the most popular public golf courses in the Tri-State area. It offers an upscale atmosphere with a traditional layout that pays homage to Philadelphia's most prestigious and renowned private courses. The course is like playing two in one with a front nine that is spacious and open while the back nine is much tighter and more heavily tree lined. The entire Wedgewood layout sprawls across gentle undulating terrain, providing subtle breaks throughout that will test your skills. There are two holes that are particularly memorable, the 13th, one of the toughest par 4s in the area, and the 17th, a tough par 5. The 13th is a lengthy par 4 that requires a second shot over water with a long club to a difficult target. Wedgewood Country Club's penultimate hole demands accuracy with an uphill drive through a chute.

A bit overpriced for what you get

The best part about this course is that you can usually get a tee time. Greens are in reasonable condition but very little maintenance on the rest of the course. Tee boxes are torn up and mostly not flat. Fairways have alot of bare spots and hard pack. Probably a bit overpriced for what you get

Should be Better

The bones are there, but owners/management aren't interested in the effort to maintain the course to what it could be, winter was hard in the area, no overseeding was done in the fall and bare spots are plenty, as in the past the course will have bare maintenance going forward and people will play here because Scotland Run is private and others won't travel, only play here 2-3 times a year because of a hot deal, in the summer stay away.

St. Patrick

Great layout, but dont get the carts shutting off when driving on rough out of bounds areas and then complain about pace of play.

Love the front 9

Front 9 was a great layout. Greens were great, some holes people just didn’t want to fix their ball marks. Back 9 was ok. Very narrow and just straight shot to holes, most of the holes were cart path only even though they were par 4s and par 5s?? very interesting when it was dry with no rain for days. If they had a layout like the front 9 similar to the back 9 i would have loved it. But great course for a great hot deal price, you can’t beat it.

Solid course

Course was pretty solid. Used a golfpass discount and tee time discount and got it for $40. Most id personally pay to play here is $55. Course was in good condition considering its the fall and we just had a ton of rain the day before. Fun course layout with challenging par 3s and open par 5s. Only big issue for me was the pro shop guy. Dude seemed like he hated everyone and everything. Super bland and practically passive aggressive when he spoke to us. Other than that place is pretty solid. 7/10

Don’t pay over $30 to play here

Not worth more than $30. Course is awful shape, overbook tee times, extremely slow pace of play no matter day and time.

Stay away

Way overpriced for the condition of the course. The pro shop smells like they’ve had an ongoing water leak. The started was very aggressive telling us that we needed to play fast before we even got in the first tee box, many better courses out there for the money. This should be $40-50 on a weekend, not $82.

1st time playing

This was a fairly easy course and conditions were good. Was alone so it was pretty chill. Course is narrow at times but overall fun and not too challenging.

Overpriced for what it is

The course is overpriced for what it is. Sand bunkers are rocks. Par 5s with no cart access seems silly. Ranger kept saying we were behind and no one was waiting so was confused. It’s good to get swings in but course is not worth the price. Also the carts are so old and slow.

Horrible Course

This golf course was a complete wreck. I can’t believe that you even allowed it on your site especially with what they charge per round per person. Nothing’s taken care of tee boxes were horrible fairways horrible our golf course didn’t even allow the break to work. Just a very horrible golf course and it’s funny because speaking to one of the employees and talking to him about the course itself he said it’s a shame, the members know the condition of the course is horrible and the owner owns seven cars, but won’t put a dime into fixing anything so the place is reputable.
