Not Impressed
The greens were great, but that was about it. One white post per hole for yardage markers, nothing else. You guess your distances. Fairways need to be cut, hard to tell where the rough begins and fairways end. Not impressed and I'm no great golfer. Will not be playing again.
The Nest
The course is pretty short, around 6300 yards from the tips. The greens are pretty slow but in fairly good condition. The clubhouse seemed understaffed and on an unrelated note has a poor selection of balls and sells iron sets from what looked like 1980s models. The price was a little high for such a short course.
The round. We were behind a lot of really horrible golfers. Their average shot went about 80 yards. This made pace of play really slow. Fortunately we were the only group that made the turn so the back nine went much faster. On a bright note the outhouses were the nicest I have ever used.
I may return to the course but definitely will not be my first choice in its price category.

Drinks were minimal variety. Greens were hard and only receptive to wedges. Near impossible to get a chip to check. Greens were above average speed and smooth. But what do you expect If they are hard? Had multiple balls interrupt play without any fore being called out. Had 1 fly 10 yards over my head while over a long eagle putt. 3 putted for par, partly because of this.
The course has improved
The course has been improved. In much better shape.
