Deer Track Golf Course
About
Tucked away on Cincinnati's east side, Deer Track Golf Course is one of southwestern Ohio's best-kept secrets. The 6,400-yard layout offers a fun yet challenging round with multiple tees. Players of all skill levels will enjoy the course. Water will be your primary concern with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. The signature hole, which is also the course's toughest, is a par-3 island green that will put your accuracy to the test. You'll also have to contend with a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the rolling fairways and gently undulating greens. In addition to the golf course, Deer Track also boasts a wide range of practice facilities including a driving range, wedge range, a putting green, and a short-game area that measures more than 50 yards.

AVOID THIS COURSE
They should not be allowed to accept tee times and charge money for this place. The greens are brown, weeds and dirt, and are not puttable. The fairways are dirt and weeds. You will actually look for weeds to put your ball on to hit. By far the worst course I have ever been on.
They should pay you $50 for trying to golf there
I’m not a picky golfer but I’ve never seen a course in worse shape. Multiple greens literally had no green color, completely brown. The ones that did had shag carpet length grass with giant patches to maneuver around. One of the ponds had at least 500 dead fish floating in it. Is it fairway? Is it rough? No way to tell. The carts were actually nice, except you had to drive them on the cart paths that had hundreds of crater sized potholes. $49 for 18 holes is not expensive these days but for this course it’s atleast double what it needs to be
Horrible!!!!!!
Course is in awefull condition. Totally ignored by maintenance and upkeep. Fairways are mostly bare spots. Tees are full of divots and crabgrass. Greens are not cut and also has bare spots. It's like putting on shag carpet. I felt like I was playing in a farmer's field. I wont ever go back. Even if I could play for free..
Needs maintenance
Cart paths were riddled with potholes. Tee boxes were rough and many greens had brown patches. Also, it would be nice to have some kind of visual indicator of water hazards. They are often so green they look like grass from a distance.
Pace of play was horrendous, at least a 20 minute wait for every hole.
Deer Track Golf Course
The course was very wet( cart path only) . Our 4-some played in about 4 hours. Greens were in good condition. Would like to play there again when it’s dry. Thank Deer Track pro shop for letting us play when most courses in our area were closed.
Deer Track on a 100 degree afternoon
Good value course, great people at the Pro Shop/Cefeteria and it is rarely crowded.
Beautiful course
I always have such a good time playing at Deer track golf course. The new owners have really done a wonderful job on fixing up this course. Very relaxed friendly environment!
Such a great course!
What a difference new ownership makes!!! You can really see how much effort they’ve put into improving what they were left with. You couldn’t ask for a better staff or customer service! This is one of the best values around and the rates defy inflation (I don’t know how they do it)
Still a piece of garbage
I used to play here years ago, and it was at least in pretty good condition. I then played it a couple years ago, and had to write a scathing review, it had gone completely to pot. After reading some recent more positive reviews, I decided to go walk nine and see if it had been improved. I did have photos of some of the tee boxes, bunkers and greens, but lost them from my iPad. Don't waste your time and money on this one, stay far, far way.
Don’t waste your money
Worst course I’ve ever played. No flat lies in the tee boxes. Fairways are high. Greens are brown and patchy. Over priced for what it is. Hated it so much decided not to play the back 9. Asked for a simple rain check on the back and was told no. Wasn’t even asking for a refund. Just a rain check. DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE
Horrific
It9k9 have never played a golf in such horrible shape. Fairways were so awful that you had to move your ball. It's a God awful golf course from tee to green
It has 18 holes
Maybe the flattest piece of property on earth, but it has 18 holes and cold beer.
Painful To Play
it pains me to write this as I have been playing deer track since 2004. The course is in terrible shape. Tee boxes 1/10 are probably the worst I've ever seen at any course, fairways 3/10 are overgrown and awful. Greens were a 5/10 with numerous burnt/fungus patches. they are charging $36 with a cart and solely based on conditions it is way over priced. I understand courses have overhead but there are much better courses for same value.
Great course all skill levels
I played Deer Track Golf Course for the first time yesterday with three other friends and we really like the course. One one of us has ever played the course but he kept insisting we go there because of how much he loves the course. The course was challenging but not overly difficult. The staff was amazingly friend and super helpful. Deer Track has easily gain three new golfers that love the course.
The local family that bought the course has worked very hard to restore the course to beautiful conditions. The previous owner left the course in an awful state. In one season the new owners have done an amazing job in transforming the course back to a beautiful, fun place to golf. You should check it out!
