About
Marysville Golf Club has been one of the most popular public golfing options in the area since it opened as a nine-hole course in 1932. A second nine was added in the 70s, completing the layout as it exists today. Save for a few mild undulations the course is mostly flat, providing an enjoyable walk. The fast bentgrass greens provide a good opportunity to use your short game skills. There are a few small ponds that come into play as well as a meandering stream. While there isn't a plentiful amount of bunkers there are enough strategically placed throughout to provide a fair challenge. Marysville Golf Club is not overly difficult but the versatile layout has a playability that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

Great Course Comeback!!
Course has improved tremendously!!! lots of time and $$ evident in improvements. Very impressed... had not been there in many years.
Carts filthy and terrible shape tho.
Wrong Course
I thought I was making a tee time at Marysville golf course in Marysville Michigan and the tee time was actually for a Marysville golf club in Ohio. I went to the tee time and was turned away and lost all my money.
Good condition
It was a great day for golf pace of play was a little slow but no fault of the course just a great day to be out on the course. Had a great time big improvement in the club house now just do the rest rooms

Great Course for a Round
Awesome course. Great mix of challenging par 5,s gettable par 4’s and long par 3’s. They are currently renovating their club house, new bar looks great, simulator bay lounge is top notch, kitchen closed for renovations so no food for the next few weeks, otherwise awesome place for a quick round

Ok course, updated clubhouse...but should they?
The course itself is probably as good as it gets. The greens were putting true as long as they weren't covered in falling dead flowers from the trees. Tee boxes are mostly flat and not beaten up yet with heavy play. I played my last round there on a Friday mid-day and finished in about 2 hours. I would like to see the cart paths improved on this course. It's nice that they have paths, but it's just stone paths. No pavement. Many areas leave you bouncing around inside the cart, so some enjoyment is lost there.
They have invested in updating the clubhouse, which is nice, but I think they should've updated the course instead (particularly said paths). The course is probably the 2nd best value in Marysville, but with some updates, they could charge more and worry about the clubhouse later. The increased fees would've paid for that update. I'm sure it will be nice taking in revenue with the golf simulator during the winter months, but most of us are there for the golf.
The other place I think could've used investment first is the bathrooms. This is probably the biggest pain point in the clubhouse. It usually smells funky in there, but it didn't this visit, so there's that.
All that said, I still plan to play here frequently.

Really nice course. Mother nature didn't help it had rained alot so it was real wet. Can't wait to go back when it is dry.

No longer a value
Course used to be decent for the price, and played pretty quick, but prices have risen dramatically the past couple of years and course play has gotten very slow. No longer worth the drive for the price/quality of course.

Very nice spring afternoon in Marysville
A 70* sunny little wind day at Marysville on a Friday late morning and paired up with three nice fellows. The course was in decent shape. The traps are either in the process of abandonment or rehab, either way unplayable. The only green in need of some serious TLC is 18. Other than that I believe all the greens roll nicely. The layout is very nice and fair. I am playing the golf tees and they have not been forgotten. This is my go to course on golf now….

Improvement noted!!
I had not played this course in probably 10 plus years... it had been in desperate need of attention.
Love the layout of the course and the fairways were very nice and green and surprisingly Weed Free!!
Many of the ladies tee boxes certainly need attention and in some cases the markers just seem to be stuck anywhere.
All of the cards were filthy dirty in many in need of a good cleaning and repair.
Inside, the clubhouse has lots of active improvements! The View over the lake is beautiful from the clubhouse! Looking forward to some modern restrooms on the first floor!!
Hope the course continues to improve..... looking forward to what is next!!
