Timberview Golf Club

About
Timberview Golf Club rolls across a diverse landscape that is ideal for a challenging round. The rolling terrain is covered with mature trees, ponds, and creeks. There is a housing development surrounding the golf course, but the houses do not intrude into the game. The layout features seven holes that were carefully carved from the dense forests and fourteen holes with water hazards coming into play. The course has a good balance of player-friendly holes and more challenging holes. The wide fairways are well manicured and the undulating greens are medium in size. In addition to the water and trees, sand fiercely guards the greens on half of the holes. The layout is still gentle enough to appeal to beginners. Timberview also offers two practice putting greens.

Timberview
Not as good as it once was but still very good for the money. Spring probably better less leaves
Bad
So many bad things to say about this place. My buddy and I played this course to try a different course. We both lost a bunch of balls when we rarely have that issue. Our cart felt like it was going to die the whole time. The greens had many giant bare spots which made putting a train wreck. None of the tees indicated where to hit from and barely any of the holes even said what hole you were even on. This was by far the worst golf course I’ve ever played. Pay extra and go elsewhere.
Timberview Review
Course was in OK shape. Tee boxes weren't marked very well, but you just figure it out. about half the greens were patchy in spots but considering the weather, it wasn't that big a deal for someone that just picked up golf agin after about a 10 year layoff.
Poor
No tee markers. Bald and patchy greens. One green almost completely covered in leaves. Equipment trucks left in the middle of the broken cart paths. Not even worth the cheap price. OK if you have absolutely nowhere else to play. Many better courses around Central Ohio for the same price.
The price is an indicator...
The layout is the biggest feature. Some nice holes and places were you do have to manage your way around the golf course. As for course conditions, it needs some work. Many greens have bare spots and the tee boxes do not have markers. Take your pick on where to hit from.
Price is probably the second most attractive feature.
Worst course ever
From a course condition perspective, the worst ever.
Upgrades & Attention Needed
2 hours to play 9 holes...tee box markers weren't in place, no water on the course, carts super old..probably won't play here again.
Horrible layout
This course has small greens, hazards everywhere and trees in the fairway. The tees were pretty much non existent and we had to guess where they were. Never golfing here again!
Never got on the course
Booked a 12:50 tee time showed up 45 minutes early to be safe and warm up. Found a dozen guys waiting for carts to be returned so they could get out on the course. By the time my 12:50 tee time came around. The guys with 11:55 were still waiting on carts. I asked for my money back and left, couldn’t find any place nearby with an open tee time, so went to Sports Ohio and hit a bucket and called it a day. It’s a small operation. You pay for your golf at the bar. They weren’t prepared for a holiday rush . Don’t think I’ll go back even though it’s the cheapest fee within 25 miles of my house
Worst experience ever
We had a tee time for 11:50, when we checked in at 11:35 we were told they were swamped so we may have to wait for a CART?!. Okay. We wait, and wait, and wait. At 12:35 we only have one cart and no one has finished 18 in 20+ minutes. We decide I will walk the other two will ride. We finish hole one only to have people on the tee, fairway, and green on hole 2. This is confusing to us because the 11:40 group went out close to an hour before we teed off so how were there new groups in between us?!?. When we decided to leave we were told since we paid on GolfNow there was nothing they could do. When we asked about the groups in front of us they said they had no clue. By FARRRRR the worst golf experience I have EVER had. Will never be back. We were even told by a local that they were letting people off that didn’t have tee times because they wanted business .. which makes sense as to why they had no carts. We also got our cart and had to wipe it down ourselves which was concerning as well. Surely that is not up to code with all the Covid guidelines. Luckily we had wipes in the car but I fear others were not as lucky. Bottom line I gave them one star because I had to. It would have been 0 if possible
Cheap
Cheap tee time on golf now, rough was overgrown and impossible to find your ball. Greens were fairly well maintained but hole positioning was questionable.
This course has fallen apart
course has fallen apart, the whole course was under water and muddy every where. Staff showed up late and there was a huge line with everyone backed up off the first tee box.
