Marysville Golf Club
About
Marysville Golf Club has been one of the most popular public golfing options in the area since it opened as a nine-hole course in 1932. A second nine was added in the 70s, completing the layout as it exists today. Save for a few mild undulations the course is mostly flat, providing an enjoyable walk. The fast bentgrass greens provide a good opportunity to use your short game skills. There are a few small ponds that come into play as well as a meandering stream. While there isn't a plentiful amount of bunkers there are enough strategically placed throughout to provide a fair challenge. Marysville Golf Club is not overly difficult but the versatile layout has a playability that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

Good value - decent track friendly service
First, not the courses fault but GolfNow has the wrong address on their confirmation. So hope you aren’t close on time because it will take you 10 min away on the north side.
So after missing the first hole, it was a good time. Really good pace given the number of golfers and many novice players.
Course isn’t perfect but well worth the money.
Good Value
Overall, the course was in pretty good shape and provides plenty of challenges. The greens themselves are often quite sloped, so you'll definitely get some breaking putts. This was the first time I've played the back nine which has at least three 90-degree dogleg holes. I know they were making the most of the land they have going through the neighborhoods, but that many severe doglegs is not my favorite. In the end, for the price you pay, it's a nice value, and I will certainly play there again.
Needed a Marysville GC fix
I had not been out for some time and Golfnow usually gives me a great rate at Marysville GC and along with a reward is a can't miss green fee. The course was cart path only due to so much rain in the area and surprisingly a somewhat crowded Friday early afternoon of play. Got stuck behind two couples playing as a foursome who admittedly were not regular golfers. It was fine, the weather was great. This course has a great layout and has some very long par 3's. I thoroughly enjoy playing here.
Overpriced
Decent course and layout. Used to love playing this place on a budget but at $40 a round it’s not worth it. Spend $10-$15 extra and play a nice course.
This is a value only play
You won't come here because you absolutely love this course. There's plenty of areas that aren't taken care of. Bunkers are unplayable. Greens are incredibly slow and difficult to read. Tee boxes are far from level. That said, you won't pay much to play here (sub $thirty w/cart), so use this course for what it is. A place for you to work on your swing and to learn how to play in general. Don't expect to come here as a low handicapper and have a great time. Come here as a mid-tier handicapper with thoughts of improving and executing course etiquette.
For the locals...fix your ball marks.
Great Value and Good Greens
Greens were in great condition. Good layout and overall excellent value.
Great for the money
Course was in good shape. Not many out golfing the day I was there made for a quick round. A couple of the holes have a severe dogleg. Used a hot deal along with a discount and this was one of my cheapest rounds ever.
It’s a fun track off the beaten path in Marysville. The fairways, rough and greens are in good condition. The bunkers certainly need some work, but that’s the norm now for a public course. It isn’t the most difficult course, but there are a couple of quirky Par 4’s with a severe dogleg that are risk/reward off the tee. For the price, it was worth the trip.
