Marysville Golf Club

The golf course conditions were not good. The greens were agonizingly slow. The fairways were shaggy and some had standing water. Bunkers were either nothing but mud or filled with water.. The pace of play was so bad, we quit after nine holes, even though we paid full-price for 18. I'm no golf snob, but their website clearly says players need to wear collared shirts. The better of those playing that didn't wear collared shirts wore t-shirts. The worst offenders wore basketball shorts and sleeveless jerseys. The course is what we would call a "hardhat" course. Our group was almost hit from wayward teeshots on three separate occasions. If one doesn't respect the game and the course enough to follow dress code,, there is no way you respect other players enough to learn how to hit the ball. Other than Jessica behind the bar, who was very nice, and the two other guys we were paired with, this was not a good experience.

Great course, beautiful landscape. Well designed and you can’t beat the price.

Course conditions were nice, couple spots in fairways due to irrigation but those are off to the side. Greens and tee boxes were nice.

I bought a hotdeal thru golf now . Unfortunately I only played 9 holes as the course management decision of “ cart path only” which slowed play to a crawl. Plus , I think they did not have push cart rental which would speed play up since they did not opt for 90 degree.

Don't play after a rain as course does not drain well. Cart paths are in serious need of attention. Restroom needs a total makeover. But, if you're on a budget, this is your course.

Nice country course with a solid layout. Definitely liked the front more than the back, but both sets of 9's had a different feel. Front 9 had some elevation changes and some holes that could really challenge you. Back 9 were fine, just some houses coming into play a little bit more flat. The staff were super friendly and the bar was fun too. I'll be back for a cheap fun round.

This course is just okay. The greens and fairways are nice but overall I wasn’t blown away. Layout wasn’t anything memorable. The tee boxes definitely need some love and there were quite a few dumpy empty bunkers that I really wish were filled with sand. I’d play again but it wouldn’t be in my top 5 go to’s in Central Ohio.

Played a twilight round here as there was a great price and I just needed to get out and hit some balls. The front nine is fairly straightforward with the back offering some more challenging layouts. The course is in decent condition, the greens were in good shape when I played. There was no one playing on a weeknight hardly so if you’re looking to play a self scramble and work on your game, this is the spot. I’d go 4 stars with the value you get but holy crap is the cart path a spine snapper.
