Timberview Golf Club
About
Timberview Golf Club rolls across a diverse landscape that is ideal for a challenging round. The rolling terrain is covered with mature trees, ponds, and creeks. There is a housing development surrounding the golf course, but the houses do not intrude into the game. The layout features seven holes that were carefully carved from the dense forests and fourteen holes with water hazards coming into play. The course has a good balance of player-friendly holes and more challenging holes. The wide fairways are well manicured and the undulating greens are medium in size. In addition to the water and trees, sand fiercely guards the greens on half of the holes. The layout is still gentle enough to appeal to beginners. Timberview also offers two practice putting greens.

Timberview
Played late into the fall. Some tee boxes were rough and a ton of leaves on the course lead to losing balls, but definitely worth $20 for 18.
GREAT VALUE
You can’t make any argument for the price. It’s great and almost always open for a drop in round. For what you pay, it’s a good time.
Course being managed better this year. Greens were cut ( some patches brown).
Management working better at maintaining this course this year. Best dollar value on GolfNow app. $12- $20 , a great value. Friendly staff , happy to have you as a guest. Fast play at late morn or midday - twosome done in 3 hours with 18. Love that !
Fun course but not well maintained.
Hopefully they use the 90% increase in price to better maintain their course. Overall, a fun course and great staff.
Great course layout. Well priced. Course needs water!! Very dry and hard, but it is still a fun course and the food is good at the 19th Hole
Course in Very Rough Condition
There were some holes that weren't in terrible condition, but there were some that had basically dirt tees and areas around greens with very little grass. Unfortunately, my friend and I quickly decided we wouldn't be back because there are much better courses nearby. We played the front, so I can't comment on the back nine. My friend had played the back nine and said it was at least in better condition overall.
Hot deal?
Tee boxes? Not a blade of grass to be found. The surrounding trees were completely over grown so you could barely hit into the fairway. .greens? Dirt/ dead grass.
Not worth $35
Bad Experience
Staff is extremely friendly but this is easily the worst course I have ever played in my entire life. There weren't even tee boxes on every hole, just gravel patches. Extremely apparent how mismanaged the grounds were, some holes dirt patches on the actual green. Not worth going to if you value golf that won't make you lose your mind.
Upgrade tee box
Like mentioned last time, this course need upgrade tee box and maintain the same.
Tremendous Value
My son and I played the front nine and found it to be excellent value for the cost of the round. The promotion included a cart, and the pace of the play was good. We didn't feel rushed and didn't have to wait long to hit. For a July day, it was understandably hard in places, and we did get LOTS of roll off the tee. There is enough water, little creeks, tall grass areas, and mature trees to make you pay some attention to your shot. It's a wonderful place to get some golf in without breaking the bank and the staff was very friendly!
Cheap Quick Round
This is a good course for beginners since the pace is quick and there’s little pressure from busy conditions and the expectations are relatively low. It’s very cheap but you get what you pay for. Conditions are often awful and at least a few tee boxes are essentially gravel. The clubhouse was recently renovated and it’s pretty nice. All in all not a terrible round, just manage your expectations going in
Run down
Worst condition I've ever seen a golf course!
Nothing but weeds. Sand bunkers are weeds and no sand.
All landscaping is overgrown with weeds. Tree limbs scatter the course. You need a 4 wheel drive cart to get around. The cart path is like driving across a plowed field. You can't read the hole layout signs at the tee box's because they are so faded. Only seen two ball washers on 18 holes and both were dry. Tee boxes were covered with broken tees and were mostly dirt and sand. Every green had huge dead spots. The only good thing I can say about this course is the layout is challenging. Just needs better grounds keeping.
