Course not in great shape
The course was not in great condition. Greens were not in great shape, and the fairways were beat up. Pace of play was also fairly slow. No sign of a Ranger or anyone to speed groups up.
Cranbury golf course Review
This course is in need of a major repair. Fairways are in are all chewed up. I don’t think it’s all due to summer heat burn out.
Riding a cart in the rough is dangerously. You never know when you are going to a big bump and get thrown of your cart.
Other than that, it’s a good golf course with very friendly and helpful staff.
Mean ranger
Everything was great besides the ranger giving me a hard time for being 2 minutes late to the tee box when it was extremely slow.
Little rough around the edges
Always enjoy playing this course every couple of years because it’s close by and a fun layout, but it’s just not as in good shape as the five county courses, but it easily could be. They just need to clean up some of the traps with weeds in them, overgrown edges, or in need of more sand, plus there are lots of bare spots in fairways and even more unacceptably so, on significant sections the tee boxes.
Golf course was in terrible shape
I have played this course before and never seen it in the shape it was in the fairways were burnt out the T box's were terrible crab grass growing all around the bunkers and the greens. The front nine was worse than the back nine very disappointed. I have played this course in the past and I never saw it in the condition that it was in.
Poor conditions
I have played this course before and it was in much better shape. The course was in horrible shape fairways with dirt grass around the greens was not manicured 6 inches deep easily bunkers, and T boxes were terrible will not return.
Cranbury golf course
We did a hot deal to play here. I was not disappointed. Challenging and loved it. The only thing that the bunkers were not up to snuff. Staff was awesome. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant.,next time. Greens are in pretty good shape. People do fix your pitch marks and replace divots.
We will be back again to play.
Nice golf course
This is a fun course , challenging but fair. A couple tee boxes need addressing but overall it’s kept in good condition… friendly staff, played many times and never disappoints.
Great value course
The course is fairly easy, greens roll perfectly. One of my favorite courses to play in terms of value and layout.
My new go to without question
I live in the ocean/monmouth county area. We have great courses, but budgets are tight and I can’t always be spending $70-125 a round. With that said, you’re not exactly thrilled with courses that are charging $25-45 a round. With the golf now app, for only a few more dollars I found Cranbury golf club, I was truly taken back at the condition of this course, not just at its price point, this course is giving these $70+ courses a run for their money. We arrived early being that it was our first time and wanted to get situated and get a few swings and putts in before we start. We left are bags by the pro shop and I had to head back to my truck to grab something, as I walk up a gentlemen is already putting our bags on a cart, over an hour before our tee time. I let him know politely that we weren’t teeing off until 9:30am and he said “no problem gentlemen, this cart is all yours.” Walked in the shop to get squared away and the gentleman behind the counter was very inviting, respectful, and polite. A rarity on alot of courses I play. I asked him for advice on how to play the course it being our first time and he gave some intelligent and comforting advice. So many courses you have to grab a few clubs and walk sometimes a decent distance to the driving range, here we were able to drive the cart directly to the range and hit a few balls. Fairways were in great shape, decently wide and forgiving, greens were honestly excellent. I’ve paid $20-30 more and the greens weren’t half as nice. Fun course, tee boxes were well taken care of and flat, I have a pet peeve about terrible boxes, kills my confidence. Couldn’t be happier with the course. For this price point this is by far the best value for money your going to find in this area and no I didn’t say best BUDGET, I said best value for money. So let’s summarize: friendly staff, excellent course conditions, forgiving and fun layout, excellent pricing, quality well taken care of golf carts, and also the added touches of the convenience of the driving range and other little luxuries such as supplying coolers on the carts with ice for any beverages. Oh and I forgot to mention, they have an app with gps for distances in case you either don’t have or forgot your range finder at home, my buddy had one on him and it was within a yard of accuracy on any given hole and easy to keep track of strokes and scores. I had a few go to courses in the area when I wanted to save a few bucks on a round and let me tell you they are now at the bottom of my list. I’ll be back very, very soon. I have a feeling I’m going to be a regular here. This is as close as your going to get being treated like your a member of a club. Oh and for the cherry on top, I had my first chip in from about 60 yards out.

Well #1. We got there and were told ALL carts in by 4:00!! Our tee time would not have enough time to get 18 holes in. #2.The tee boxes are All chewed up quite a few of the fairways were burnt with dirt.
Fun Course
I enjoyed playing this course with my friends and plan to play it again in the future. The staff was very nice.
Great Day
I always love playing on a week day. The course was in great shape. Pace of play was good. The staff was really nice.
Not worth the $
The condition this course was in for the heart of summer was pathetic. Tee boxes were half dirt half grass. For $75 with a cart I’d take my business elsewhere
